Short History
The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority is an independent statutory body of the Queensland Government:
• Established 1 July 2014
• Replaced QSA (Queensland Studies Authority) • Assumed all QSA functions
• Responsible for implementing new initiatives in
curriculum, assessment and reporting
Leadership Is the new Chief Executive Officer of the QCAA –
previously a District Director for Education Queensland
