2. As of September 30, 2016, the Company did not have any assets or liabilities measured at fair value for which the Company utilized significant unobservable (Level 3) inputs.

3. Transfers Between Levels:The Company reviews the fair value hierarchy classifications each reporting period. Changes in the observability of the valuation attributes may result in a reclassification of certain financial assets or liabilities. Such reclassifications are reported as transfers in and out of Level 3 at the beginning fair value for the reporting period.

4. Valuation Techniques and Inputs:The vast majority of long-term bonds use Level 2 inputs for the determination of fair value. These fair values are obtained primarily from industry-standard pricing methodologiesbased on market observable information. Certain structured securities valued using industry-standard pricing methodologies utilize significant unobservable inputs to estimatefair value, resulting in the fair value measurements being classified as Level 3. The Company also utilizes internally developed pricing models to produce estimates of fair value primarily utilizing Level 2 inputs along with certain Level 3 inputs. The internally developed models include matrix pricing where the Company discounts expected cash flows utilizing market interest rates obtained from market sources based on the credit quality and duration of the instrument to determine fair value. For securities that may not be reliably priced using internally developed pricing models, fair value is estimated using indicative market prices. These prices are indicative of an exit price, but the assumptionsused to establish the fair value may not be observable, or corroborated by market observable information, and represent Level 3 inputs.
