an Altivar variable frequency drive (VFD), Modicon programmable logic
controller (PLC) and pressure transducers — that changes pressure by
changing the RPM of the motor.

The fixed displacement vane pumps consumed only 12 percent of the
original power use at the maximum pressure, bringing 88 percent savings.
