Slurry pipeline

Primarily for heavy duty service in a wide varietyof slurry applications. GIW’s rugged designfeatures combined with shell, impeller and liner inproprietary GIW Gasite material, are recognizedworldwide for superior abrasion resistance. Inter-changeable urethane (Gathane) or rubber wearparts are options.

Several options of shells and impellers to fine tunepump performance to customary pumping needsare available. This ensures long wear life andsustained efficiency.

Each LSA pump is equipped with a heavy duty,split cartridge bearing assembly with adaptermounted, spherical roller radial bearings and aseparate steep angle, self-aligning thrust bearingfor maximum high power capability.The fusedcarbide coated shaft sleeve provides a smoothand extremely hard surface for long seal packinglife. Mechanical seal options are available.

Common size power end for several wet endsallows plant inventory reduction. For example:the LSA25 pedestal can be used for pump model4X6LSA25 as well as the12X12LSA32. Thisallows flow range change from 250 GPM to 7,500GPM by a change of wet end parts only.
