These people are driven by a need for discovery, challenge and new frontiers. This advertisement is aimed at the explorer, we know this because of the storm in the background, with the water splashing; which shows danger and adventure. The male in this is looking directly at the audience, this shows that he is confident. The stubble on his face is a typical stereotype of what all adventurers and explorers have. The text is thin and dirty; which is a look explorers tend to have. The look is a masculine look with a slender toned body with dirt on it but its not unhygenically dirty. The text says encounter which infers that this is for the people that encounter problems and adventures on a daily basis. The guy has a clean, but rough look about him which attracts women to him because of his ridged, but attractive look. The perfume bottle is kind of shaped like a case which has mystery because of the colours and how the light bounces off the bottle you cant see what's inside of it. The colour blue is used to tint the image, this makes the protagonist in the image look like he's in an adventure already.
