senior cycling team of Maxyna Cottam, Loran Mathis, Maggie Allan, Brigitte Allan and Madison
Farrant, for winning the silver medal in the under-20 team time trial at the New Zealand Schools
Road Cycling Championships in Levin last month (noting that the riders were recently injured in an
accident with a motor vehicle while training on a rural Waikato road), commend the riders for their
courage and determination, and wish them further success in their cycling careers.

Boys’ High School, who is a cadet at No. 7 (City of Hamilton) Squadron Air Training Corps, for
being selected to participate in a Canadian and New Zealand Friendship Cadet Exchange in British
Columbia and the USA in May/June 2014, and wish him well both for the exchange and in his future
goal of becoming a pilot.
