ABSTRACT• Tested in an Atlanta School.

• Overall goal was to increase opportunities for technology training for teachers to improve student learning.

• Technology focused on--> Quia (Quintessential Instructional Archive)

RATIONALE FOR NEED• Found that established and new teachers both

have a need for awareness of current tools available to them to improve student learning.

• Our survey of foreign language teachers at a private school in Gwinnett county yielded 2 needs:

• 1. Teachers are not proficient in using technology due to a lack of training.

• 2. Teachers are lacking skills that could enable them to create more engaging interactive foreign language instruction.

• Goal: Teachers will improve teaching through this learning opportunity.
