IB courses• IB Psychology – job like teacher has to know well about

what the students think and efficient way to teach them• IB Math – required for grades/ to apply on the University• English – every Universities like people who speak well in

other language• IB Chinese – required to learn Chinese in order to apply

on university as “special admission”• IB Science - required for grades/ to apply on the

University• IB Art or Music – maybe, if I chose to do, but it might help

gaining specs for the majoring (early childhood education also involve teaching kids songs and art)

University (based in Korean universities) /Tuition supported by

parents/dad’s company

• Chung-ang University• Ewha Womans University• Major, “Early childhood education”

Graduating the University with distinction, majoring the

early childhood education, you receive the second-level

certification of a regular teacher, and the certification

of childminder.

These universities require good grades / GPA/ language

skills/ HSK/ TOEFL/ documents that shows your self such as

service learning certification, school activities and so.

Learning Piano (instruments) – might help when

getting job

Different level of certification decides the level of

the kindergarten• To receive first-level certificate, you have to have

second-level certification, and then should get 3 years of promotion education.

KINDERGARTEN TEACHER

Salary• Kindergarten made by the Country gives more

and steady salaries• Average $51,550 due to the Naviance (only in

Western countries)• Usually, the salary of the kindergarten teacher is

not high, unless you are the owner of the kindergarten.

• Hard to stay in this job if you work for the money

JOB ENVIRONMENT

Average working time in one day: 9.5 hours

Vacations: about ten days a year (56.3%)

Teacher not only teaches words and certain subjects to the kids, but

also teaches them how to cooperate with friends and all. Children

might be annoying because they easily cry, because their emotional

changes are large. Kindergarten teachers should be positive and

willing to care those children.

Work in the kindergarten

Some work till afternoon until the parents come and pick the kids

(parents who works)

Prepare/ plan the parties such as birth party, field

trip ..

About twice a week, every teacher gathers and

have a meeting
