PROJECT D3-X is an “education add-on” resource designed with YOUNG people in mind. It wasdeveloped by our team of experienced youth development experts to be delivered throughfacilitated learning workshops for young people in secondary and post secondary schools.Our aim is to enable them understand more about themselves, their strengths and the uniquecareer path suited for their unique personality strengths.We designed this workbook to be used alongside “CLARITY4D (www.clarity4d.com) PersonalityProfiles” which come with a full psychometric evaluation of participants’ personality andthe most suitable career path(s) for the individual all couched in a clear and simplelanguage.In addition to the profiles, we also made provision for other leadership and personaldevelopment tools to aid participants in continuous development afterwards.PROJECT D3-X is a game changing solution with a guarantee to simplify the challenge youngpeople face with making career-path choices that suit their uniqueness and areas ofstrengthWe hope to make the resource available to as many young people as possible with yourassistance.

PROJECT D3-X stands for “Discover, Develop and Deploy - X”. It is a personality development and career-pathidentification workbook designed to provide a spring-board for young people to have a clear roadmap towardslearning more about themselves and the way their mind works. The “X” represents their specific interest areasparticularly in the academic and career sense.PROJECT D3-X is designed to guide them towards thinking more carefully about the sorts of careers that may be moresuited to their personality preferences. The aim of PROJECT D3-X is to enable them choose the right university course,increase their chances of successfully landing dream jobs and ultimately lead them to higher satisfaction in life.The accompanying profile will highlight core strengths as well as areas for improvement and this will help identify theirstrongest skills to enable them put their BEST FOOT FORWARD both now and in the future.PROJECT D3-X is slightly different from a regular classroom experience in that we have taken care to make it uniqueusing the “experiential learningmodel” of “DO, REFLECT and APPLY”.PROJECT D3-X being the first of its kind, is deeply rooted in research and boasts of interesting and visually stimulatingslides, activities and key takeaways. We are really confident that this project will help them DISCOVER unique andinnate potentials, DEVELOP them and ultimately position themselves to DEPLOY them in their specific interest areas.

PROJECT D3-X is structured into four sections for easy facilitation and understanding. Thefocus is on helping the participant establish their present position and then gradually andsystematically work towards establishing a unique destination using a series of well designedactivities and aids to achieve that.The workbook starts with the participant discovering his/her unique style and personalitypreferences. It then moves on to assisting the participant with establishing how they fitwithin their different circles of influence using relationship mapping tools and aids. Thethird section covers the critically important aspect of affording the participant insight intoknowing himself/herself using tools such as “the hedgehog principle” and our unique “3D-Xmodel” of self-discovery. This is also where the participant explores different career pathswith the intention of selecting the field most suited to their uniqueness. The fourth and finalsection deals with helping the participant expand his/her horizon and the idea behind this isborne from the fact that self-knowledge and awareness must lead young people towardsexpanding their horizons, circles of influence, views and understanding of who they are andwhat they are gifted to do.The advantage of PROJECT D3-X lies in the research gathered through years of firsthandexperience in the field working with young people.

PROJECT D3-X is designed to be as flexible as possible inexecution. However, for a full maximization of thecontent and knowledge embedded in the workbook, ittypically requires four workshop sessions to complete.These sessions can be structured and modified to fit intofour days or more (weekends included), depending on thepreference of the client/organization involved. Wehowever advise that for the sake of maximumunderstanding and appreciation, four days and upwards isthe most ideal both for participants as well asfacilitators.Based on that, PROJECT D3-X has four unique deliverymechanisms illustrated below:
