Dear Parents! Dear Children!The Childminding of the Global Education GmbH as well as the EuroKids gGmbH are happy to present to you the programme of the holiday camps for 2018:

The programme of the holiday camps from Childminding is designed for child-ren from 3,5 years up to 12 years old (Pre-Primary to Secondary 2). The weeks of the holiday camps are split into fixed age-specific groups (see chart below).

PP = Pre-Primary P1 = Primary 1P2 = Primary 2 P3 = Primary 3P+S = Primary 4 – Secondary 2

From the first day of the summer holi-days the split will be according to the classes of the school year 2018/2019.

From 30th July until 10th August 2018 as well as during the winter holidays Child-minding will be closed due to company holidays.

New: In cooperation with EuroKids gGmbH external providers, like a magici-an and some “American sport coaches” will enrich our programme for the holi-day camps 2018.

The opening hours during the camps are from Monday to Friday from 08:00 am until 06:15 pm.

We will inform all parents and children before the start of each holiday camp week in a letter about the exact pro-gramme and the weekly topic orientated excursion.

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „Fairytale-Party“

The children will organise a unique fai-rytale-Party for Friday of that week. We want to make some costumes together as well as decoration and prepare eve-rything for our fairytale-Party. The child-ren will hear and experience different magical stories during this week. We will also look into the following questions: Which are our favourite fairytales, which characters are in them and which mes-sage is behind them? So join us and let us celebrate together!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „We are planning a theme party! “

The first step will be that the children decide on their own theme. We will learn what a theme party is, how it is formed and what belongs to it. From the theme over to the decoration, lighting, perfor-mances, special effects, food and drinks, everything is in the hands and creativity of the children. It is going to be a fantas-tic party at the end of the week. So join us and let us celebrate together!

Date: 26. – 29.03.2018Registration Deadline: 09.03.2018Costs: 120 €Follow in the footsteps of Winnetou and Old Shatterhand. Whether Native Ame-ricans, cowboys or pretty indian women. Together we will make our way to the wild West.

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „Life in the wild West“

In this week we will hear mysterious legends and stories about the Native Americans and cowboys and will get to know what they represent. We will built a tipi and will live like they did in the wild West. Get ready for an exciting week full of old rites and cowboys!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Welcome to the wild West“

Together with the children we will go back to the times of the wild West. We will hear some stories about cowboys and Native Americans will build tools from that time and slip into the roles of our heroes to experience a role-playing game. Get ready for a week in the wild West!

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „On the trail of wizardry“

This week, we‘ll get to the bottom of the secrets of magic. We will learn magical & magic tricks and discover incredible phenomena in our workshops. A real magic show will not be missed of course. So join in and be enchanted!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Magic, Illusion & Perception

In collaboration with the magician Mr. Romanoff, who will accompany us throughout the week, we will take a close look at the deceptive percepti-on. Mr. Romanoff, known for his appea-rance at the Halloween party, is a pro-fessional magician. www.alex-romanoff.com We will get to know card and deception tricks and present them at the end of the week to the children of the Pre-Primary-Primary 2 and of course the parents, in a magical show. So come on and perform some magic with us!

May Holidays 2018Creative craft

Date: 22.–25.05.2018Registration Deadline: 04.05.2018Costs: 120 €This week we want to make and build everyday things ourselves and let our creativity run wild.

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „Small hands, big creations “

This week we will be making everyday things with the children: our own books, hair clips, lights, potholders ... everything will be handmade. Each work will be so-mething very special and unique. Come along and make your own favorite pie-ce!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Do it yourself“

This week everything is handmade. In addition to our own ideas that can be re-alised, there are many craft techniques that we can learn. Wood, textiles and various other materials will be used. Of course your own cut cannot be missed for your favourite piece! So come along when we say: Do it yourself!

Date: 09. – 13.07.2018Registration Deadline: 08.06.2018Costs: 145 €This week everything centres on the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Pre-Primary: „World Cup for Kids“

For sure, we will play football oursel-ves this week, but we will also deal with all the important related activities. The footballers need food for example and the supporters need accessories. In ad-dition, there are many different partici-pants in a World Cup, so we want to take a closer look at these countries and their traditions. The look at the host count-ry Russia will not be missed of course! So be there when we prepare us for the World Cup!

Primary 1 to Primary 2: „World Cup 2018“

„Gooooooal! The World Champion is set!!“ This week we are waiting for the final of the World Cup 2018 and we will also deal with all topics and questions about football. Of course, the actual playing will not be neglected. Let‘s have a look at what is happening at this glo-bal event, how it is celebrated in diffe-rent countries and how the host country Russia prepares for the event. Join us in organising our own Childminding cham-pionship!

Primary 3 to Primary+Secondary: „World Cup in Russia“

This week, fitting to the football World Cup in Russia, the children can dedica-te their time entirely to football. From our own football practice to the history of the most popular ball game, you can learn everything this week. For what do the participants have to be prepared for and what special features are there? Are there any specific traditions in Russia? Hopefully, at the end of this week, we will not only have found a new World Champion but also learned a lot about the background of a World Cup. So look forward to a week full of football and Russian characteristics!

Pre-Primary: „Small Detectives are solving big cases“

This week we’ll have a close look how The Three Investigators, Sherlock Holmes or other famous detectives approach and solve their cases. With an alert mind we master some obstacles and hopefully we have improved our good nose in the end. Join us on a journey into the world of detectives!

Primary 1 to Primary 2: „Mysterious riddles & stories“

This week‘s motto is „mysterious ridd-les and stories“ just like Scotland Yard and Sherlock Holmes. Together, we will face some tricky questions and train our minds in finding clues. For this, not only our minds have to be sharpened, but all our senses. So get ready for a week full of excitement, adventure and fun!

Primary 3 to Primary +Secondary: „Citybound & Geocaching“

This week will be exciting for the older children. The children can rediscover the city and experience it in a new way. To-gether we go on an expedition through Frankfurt full of zest for action and learn what our home has to offer. We also get to know the latest kind of „scavenger hunt“ while geocaching. With the help of geographic data and some curiosity we will start the search to discover hid-den secrets. Come on, join us in solving riddles like Scotland Yard in and around Frankfurt!

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „Old Mac Donald had a Farm“

As the name suggests, this week we are dealing with animals. We will bring a pi-ece of farm life to Childminding, try out typical and regional recipes and encoun-ter real animals. What is the situation on a farm and what is the purpose of the animals? Get ready for a trip out of town and into country life.

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Dog, Cat & Co – on the trail of the animals“

It’s all about our dear friends the ani-mals. On the one hand we are dealing with our pets such as rabbits, cats and dogs, which we will encounter closely, on the other hand we also want to deal with animals from other countries and continents. Be there when he animals run wild in Childminding!

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „From fantasy to reality“

This week we let the imagination run wild. We create and design what crosses our mind and get to know some great artists and masterpieces. From painting techniques to free design, everything can be tested and combined here. At the end of the week we will present our works of art in an art exhibition. Come on a journey into the artistic world bet-ween fantasy and reality!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Design & Creation“

What does it mean to create and design something? Before we let our imaginati-on run wild, we will learn how to prepa-re for an artistic project and how much planning is needed to realise an idea. Pre- Primary: „Children’s Theatre/Role Playing“

If you always wanted to slip into another role, this is the place for you. This week you can be who ever you want. Together we will learn what it‘s like to play a diffe-rent role and what you need for it. From the costume to the emotions, everything can be adapted to a role. Of course, the right music and scenery in acting can’t be missed. And maybe in this week we can also visit a real theatre together.

Primary 1 to Primary 2: „Acting/Ensemble“

The drama week is all about stage expe-rience, taking on other roles as well as the interction of characters. But it is not only focused on the acting experience but also on the creation of a set design, the make up, matching costumes, mu-sic and sound effects. At the end of the week, there may even be our own play with a premiere.

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „Stage Entertainment /Musical“

„And action“, so we start with the acting and singing in our musical week. Here, new talents can be discovered and de-veloped. We want to rehearse songs and strengthen our voices. We also have to create a stage design that stands out and design our costumes. So be there when we maybe prepare for our musical performance at the end of the week.

Pre-Primary: „Playful Exercise“

This week we want to playfully explore the world of sports with the children and do some exercise. In many color-ful workshops, we will get to know the variety of the world of sports and learn how much fun it can be. For new child-ren there is also the opportunity to get to know the Childminding and the pre-mises of the ESF. So come on an active holiday camp week full of playing, fun and lots of sports!

Primary 1 to Primary + Secondary: „American Sports“

In the US, there is a wide range of sports. Whether it is tennis, baseball, lacrosse or American football with the associa-ted cheerleaders, there is something for everyone! In this holiday camp week we will go on an expedition of the world of American sports with the children. We will get to know the various sports of football, lacrosse, baseball and bas-ketball with the support of professional coaches and will show our talent in the finals on Friday. wardcarr.com/index.html

Pre-Primary to Primary 2: „Count Dracula and his friends“

This week, it‘s going to be scary won-derful, because fitting to Halloween, the little vampire takes us on an adventu-rous journey through his world. So we encounter monsters, vampires, witches and all his friends. Maybe we will also hear a story or two about the creatures. In addition, we can discover the monster in ourselves and dress up and paint our faces. Come on and celebrate Halloween with us in Childminding!

Primary 3 to Primary + Secondary: „The Awakening of Frankenstein”

This week it will be scary for the older children as well. Because it’s all about Frankenstein‘s monster and its creation. We‘ll have a look on what the monsters are holding ready for us, be it a haunted house or stories of ghosts. But it won’t be that easy to scare us, because we can turn ourselves into scary monsters as well. Join us when we will get goose bumps!

Since the first day of school in the school year 2018/2019 will be on a Wednesday, we offer a full-time care in Childminding on 3rd September 2018 / 4th September 2018 and for the Primary 1 children on 5th September 2018. On these days we will plan various age-specific trips for the sections: PP-P1, P2-P3 and P+S. The-re will be introductory days for new Pre-Primary and Primary 1 children to make the transition into Childmining easier. The days can be booked seperately.

Participation Conditions for the holiday camp programme 2018

All children (Pre-Primary to Secondary 2), whose parents are members of the Parents’ Association of the European School Frankfurt, can take part.

The execution of the holiday camps and their contents are not guaranteed. Po-tential variations are possible. We will inform you in good time if necessary.

The registration for the holiday camps has to be done online via the website of the Parents‘ Association at www.esfpa-rents.org. The registrations are binding! If you cancel up to 14 days before the start, we charge 50% cancellation fee. For all cancellations within less than 14 days of the start, we charge 100% of the costs.

The number of participants per week is limited. The registrations will be pro-cessed according to the date of receipt. If the capacity is exceeded, we will in-form you. The deadline for registration is to be observed. After that, registrations and children can no longer be accepted because of organisational reasons. By signing the holiday camp registration you agree that your child is allowed to participate in our excursions. Please re-member to inform us about allergies and peculiarities of your children on the holi-day camp registration. We are not liable for toys, mobile phones, game consoles, etc., which are brought to the holiday camps by your children.
