DESCRIPTION
In the Kawangs of Matandang Balara where residents are mostly concerned about the lack of basic needs such as electricity, water supply, decent dwelling, and daily sustenance, parents of school-age children and young adults find it difficult to dream big dreams. This is not true though for the children and adolescents of Old Balara. These young people see the light at the end of the tunnel because concerned individuals, community developers, committed educators, and the parish priest and staff of Nuestra Senora Dela Paz y Buen Viaje Parish hold the torch high for them to serve as their beacon as they find their way towards their dream to be educated and to be morally upright.
