The Agriculture Department of the college has well equipped

laboratories and classrooms with state of art equipments. These

equipments not only provide assistance in teaching but also help

in undertaking research. The college farm has vast experimental

area wherein protected cultivation, modern irrigation systems,

precision farming, organic farming, exotic vegetable cultivation,

floriculture and landscaping etc. is done vigorously. Further, there

is a well developed Botanical garden for the specification of

different plant genres. This availability of vast demonstration area

helps in enhancing effective learning amongst the students. In

order to gain practical knowledge about various agriculture

practices and to get more exposure, from time to time, students

are taken for state Agricultural Universities’ conducted ‘Kisan

Melas’ and ‘Agriculture exhibitions’. To add to their practical

knowledge and to apprise them of modern agricultural practices

they are also taken to fields of progressive farmers. Last but not

least, the college believes in doing community service (social

service). ‘Farmer Field Day’ is organised whereby, from time to

time, various extension activities are organised by the college for

farmers and orchardists to enhance their technical know how on

agriculture, horticulture and agro forestry.

The college has Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology andAgriculture labs, fully equipped with latest apparatuseswhich are sufficient to fulfill the needs of our studentsfor the better understanding of the theoretical concepts.More emphasis is given on practicals of all the subjects.Highly qualified faculty guides the students through rigorous practical sessions. Science labs with state of art equipments not only support teaching but also give due opportunity of conducting research to the faculty. The Physics lab has Expeyes software and kit to make practicals easier for students. The Agriculture lab along with experiment area gives an opportunity to the students to study organic farming, floriculture, horticulture, cultivation of exotic vegetables and they also learn about protracted cultivation, Modern Irrigation Systems, precision farming etc. Agriculture lab is equipped with water and soil testing kit, Laminar Air flow, Auto Claveoven, Incubator etc..
