They are used to compact large quantities of recycling materials, making stable, stackable bales which help you to use your storage space and transportation capacity e�ciently; reducing your costs and labour.

SHREDDERS & CRUSHERS

DOUBLE YOUR COMPACTIONCombined with a Presto High Force Auger, either a crusher or shredder can handle cardboard pallets, plastic, PET bottles and even wooden pallets. More than double your compaction and halve your transport, all in one combination.

A PROVEN DOUBLE-BLOWFirst, the crusher is designed to destroy the integral shape of any loose material, sheets or even pallets; tearing it all to shreds.

The High Force Auger then compacts this treated material, achieving up to double the bin weights when compared to conventional compactors. As the material has been torn and crushed emptying of the bin is assured even with these higher weights.

MOVING FLOORSWastech Engineering Moving Floors are an e�cient and cost e�ective means of moving product in a waste receival pit and replace the outdated and often dangerous means of moving product in a pit via a push blade, dozer or front end loader.

TRANSFER TRAILERSThe Wastech Engineering compaction transfer trailer has a large, uninterrupted, smooth appearance that enhances our customer’s corporate image and allows for signage and logo display to be the main feature of the Wastech Cleanline Trailer.

Our trailer incorporates the use of Hardox 450 high tensile plate in the body which is able to withstand the high piercing forces experienced during the compaction process of

industrial type wastes. Subsequently this gives a greatly reduced tare weight and increased payload. The body comes with an integral hydraulic pusher blade for positive ejection of the load at the destination. Wastech trailers have the option of either hydraulic or manual rear doors.


SMOOTHTUBES CHUTES

SUPER-SMOOTH HIGH-RISE CHUTE SOLUTIONSWelcome to Wastech’s revolutionary plastic chute system. Smoothtubes™ feature an internal �nish that has 80% less friction than steel, making them quieter and smoother than traditional steel and cement chutes. The moulded connection between the loading throat and vertical chute minimises the impact area. No sharp angles means a faster, less restricted, continuous �ow from the stainless steel loading door down to the basement or collection point.

INSTALLATIONChute sections weigh no more than 15kg each allowing easy transport and installation by hand without reliance on Tower Cranes. Gas style nail guns are used to �x the chute mount to the slab to reduce install time. Bricking up instructions are detailed on the front panel of every loading throat, which stays �tted until installation of loading door to prevent unauthorised use and potential damage from building rubble.

THE EVOLUTION OF TIME-TESTED DESIGNSimple yet strong, light yet durable. The design brief for the EVO 31 was born from existing, time tested designs and evolved into a reliable, maintenance-friendly truck that will go the distance.

PURE INNOVATIONWith a 90% content of high tensile steels from the Hardox, Domex and Weldox range, the EVO31 body, blade and arm construction combines light 6.8t tare weight with rugged durability. Seamless body and door construction provide more accurate body dimensions to reduce blade clearance, resulting in less mess and a cleaner operation.

The touch screen control provides operator friendly control, built in CCTV interface and maintenance/ help screens. Customisable fault or hazard warnings have options of visual and/or audible warnings that are logged in a maintenance �le for monitoring. All pressure, timer and counter functions are adjusted from the touch screen without the need of a laptop or electrician to drive it.
