BKP GROUP, a.s. was established in 1991 as a producer of polyester

putties. Since 1995 we have been producing in new operating premises,

which are fully equipped with modern technological devices.

In Czech Republic we were the first to start with production of two-

component polyester putties, which replace before used materials such as

oil, acrylic and epoxy putties.

Over the years, we have broadened our production assortment with

spraying putties, fillers, clear coats, protective spray coats, sprays,

thinners, abrasives etc. Nowadays we are the biggest Czech producer of

such products exporting into neighbouring countries.

Our products are supplied via distributors and wholesales into industry,

auto paint shops and trade networks including foreign hobby shops

COMPATIBILITY WITH MATERIALS

TOPEKOR It contains effective preparation for dispersion of anorganic and organic sediments, and inhibitor which protect against corrosion in closed systems of central heating. TOPEKOR can be used also in circulating systems where is the possibility of formation of scale or corrosion. Content of the container (500 ml) guarantee perfect protection of system with capacity up to 400 litres of water during minimally two years. It does not work aggresively on common materials as iron, steel, cast iron, zinc coating, copper, polyethylene, polypropylene, rubber, sealing rubbers, teflon. It gets on glycols in water antifreezing systems.

VOLUMES OF PACKAGING

Polyester putties are normally packed in cans in volumes 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2 or 5 kg. It is also possible packing in a special 3 kg can for the batcher. Each package includes the initiator. Group packaging (cardboard, stretch-foil) can be adapted to customer requirements. Fillers are packed in cans in volumes 1 or 4 liters. Hardeners are included in the appropriate packages 0.25 or 1 liters. Thinners are commonly supplied in packages of 1 liter can, or 5 liters canister. Transportation of so packaged products is thus excluded from the provisions of ADR, due to the limited quantity per unit.

VARIOL LENT

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

LENT is a two component polyester medium dense, well-workable putty for filling small to medium sized disparities. It is intended for common surface including iron, aluminum, zinc and fiberglass. It is very well sandable, pore-free, it is also applicable to even out inequalities on wood (harder types), concrete, etc. The putty is due to its structure very well applicable.

ENVIRONMENT The putty must not be used for filling places which are in direct contact with food and drinking water.

VOC VOLUME VOC = 51 g / l This product complies with EU Directive (2004/42/EC), which gives for the preparation of this category (B / b) the limit value of volatile matter content of 250 g / l in finished product.

APPLICATION Get rid of rust and abrade the bonded surface by sandpaper P80. Surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. For maximum corrosion protection use epoxy or polyurethane basecoat. Do not apply the putty on reactive, single or nitrocellulose basecoats. Apply with a trowel.

HARDENING The putty is hardened with hardener (PE-initiator, dibenzoyl peroxide, red paste in tube) in weight ratio: - 100 parts of putty : 2 parts of hardener – recommended ratio for temperature 23°C

POT LIFE The putty is necessary to be used within 5 minutes after mixing with hardener at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Adjusting of the hardening ratio can partly eliminate the influence of temperature on the potlife. At lower temperatures (at least 17°C), the potlife increases, at higher temperatures is reduced. Do not exceed the recommended hardening ratio.

SANDING The putty is sandable after 25-30 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P80-120 and finishes with sanding paper P180-240. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

UPPER COATINGS It is possible to use all common paint systems on the putty. The putty withstands temperatures of 80-110 °C.

TOOLS CLEANING Dirty parts of tools for filling can be cleaned with VARIOL TRIN POLYESTER or nitrothinner C-6000. Only non-hardened putty can be cleaned.

STORAGE It is necessary to ensure the temperature from +5°C to + 25°C and avoid direct solar radiation during storage and transport. Dash of the resin on the surface of putty is acceptable. We guarantee shelf life and quality of the product for 12 months.

FIN is a two-component soft putty intended for filling of small disparities, striae and pits on car bodies. It is possible to fill various metal products, iron castings or machine exteriors successfully with this product. It is applicable also for straightening of disparities on wood (harder kinds), glass fibre, concrete etc. Thanks to its very fine structure the putty is easy to applicable and has very good sandability. It is suitable as finishing putty.

FLAT is a special two component polyester putty intended for the common surface including iron, aluminum, zinc and fiberglass. It is especially suited for bridging the missing parts of the material, it can be applied in a thick layer. It has a high content of glass fiber, which allows you to create very strong layer of putty tied by fiberglass, that can be sanded as needed.






SANDING The putty is sandable after 20-30 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P60-80 and finishes with sanding paper P120. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

VARIOL EXTRA

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

EXTRA is a special two component polyester putty designed for filling light metal, galvanized sheets of car bodies, steel and fiberglass. It has a high content of aluminium powder, which brings a soft structure and good applicability, easy sanding and increased adhesion to filled surface.

VARIOL PLASTEX

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

PLASTEX is a special two component fine polyester putty with very high elasticity and increased adhesion to plastics. It is non-porous, easy to apply and very well sandable.

VARIOL HOLS

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

HOLS is a special two-component polyester putty intended for filling of all kinds of wood. It is suitable for filling of massif, chipboard, blockboard and all products made from wood. HOLS has high content of wooden powder, which is necessary for chromatosis of the putty with common wood stains both before application and after hardening of putty. HOLS is both well sandable and elastic, what is necessary according to volume non-stability of wooden materials.



APPLICATION Bonded wood surface is necessary to get rid of moisture, dust, old paint and sand by sandpaper. Apply with a trowel. If you need to create a larger layer of putty, we recommend filling in multiple layers of about 5 mm. Between the layers wait at least 30 minutes.

HARDENING The putty is hardened with hardener (PE-initiator, dibenzoyl peroxide, white paste in tube) in weight ratio: - 100 parts of putty : 2 parts of hardener – recommended ratio for temperature 23°C


SANDING The putty is sandable after 30 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P80-120 and finishes with finer sandpaper as needed. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

UPPER COATINGS The putty can be covered with commercially available stains (based on water or alcohol). It can be used for any conventional coating systems.

LITE is a considerably light-weight putty, middle dense and very well workable. This upper putty is intended for filling small and bigger disparities. It is intended for common surface. It has lower adhesion on aluminum and zinc materials. Thanks to low density it is very well sandable with severalfold lower abrasive consumption. It has high resistance of stress on material. There is a minimal increase of weight of construction, so it is suitable for aircraft industry, ship-building sector and auto-tuning.






SANDING The putty is sandable after 20-30 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:3. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P80-120 and finishes with sanding paper P240. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

VARIOL RAPID R

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

RAPID R is middle rough, elastic two-component polyester putty intended for filling of large surfaces during railway carriages repairs. RAPID R is possible to use successfully for filling of various metal products, iron castings or machine exteriors. It is applicable on straightening of disparities on wood (harder kinds), glass fibre, concrete, stone etc. The putty has good filling ability and is well workable and sandable. It excels in toughness, endures big load in bend and stroke during changing of temperatures and vibrations. This putty has the certificate from State Testing Laboratory ČD (Czech railway) for repairs of railway carriages surfaces.






SANDING The putty is sandable after 6-8 hours at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P80-120 and finishes with sanding paper P180-240. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

LONG is soft surface two-component putty intended for filling of dimensional workpieces, machine parts and large surfaces during the repairs of machine exteriors. LONG is possible to use successfully also for filling of various metal products or iron castings. The putty has thinner consistence and it is very well workable. It is applicable also for straightening of disparities on wood (harder kinds), glass fibre, concrete, stone etc. The putty has excellent adhesion on various surfaces, good elasticity, is easy applicable and excellent sandable.






SANDING The putty is sandable after 4-5 hours at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Rough sanding begins with sanding paper P80-120 and finishes with sanding paper P180-240. For sanding is recommended to use rotating or vibrating sander.

VARIOL LAMINO resin / repair box

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

LAMINO is a two-component polyester resin / repair set for small repairs. The repair set is used for repairing of holes or splits in metal or laminate materials as for example rusted up places on car bodies, boats or camping caravans. Glass texture soaked with polyester resin forms steady base for application of next layers of putties during the repair.

ENVIRONMENT This product must not be used for filling places which are in direct contact with food and drinking water.


APPLICATION Repaired surface must be without rust and old coatings. It is necessary to degrease the surface carefully, eventually to roughen with sanding paper: - glass fibre – sanding paper P40 - steel, galvanized steel – sanding paper P60 Before starting the repair it is necessary to cut out suitable piece of glass texture. Prepared mixture of resin and hardener is applicated on repaired place by brush, then the glass texture is laid. After that also the glass texture shall be soaked. It is possible to lay more layers of glas texture, if it is necessary.


POT LIFE The putty is necessary to be used within 8-10 minutes after mixing with hardener at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. Adjusting of the hardening ratio can partly eliminate the influence of temperature on the potlife. At lower temperatures (at least 17°C), the potlife increases, at higher temperatures is reduced. Do not exceed the recommended hardening ratio.

SANDING Repaired place is sandable after 40 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:2. For dry sanding it is used the sanding paper P80 – P180.

UPPER COATINGS The repair should be finished with putties VARIOL FLAT or VARIOL LENT, eventually with extra soft putty VARIOL FIN, which alignes the margins finely. We recommend also to use spray putty or filler. After that it is possible to use all common paint systems. Hardened resin resists common baking temperatures 80 – 110°C.

VARIOL FINAL

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

FINAL is a two-component spray putty intended for unification of surface between filled and no filled places, or for straightening of surface on car bodies. It is used for formation of equable layer of putty on whole car body, which is necessary before application of filler and subsequently upper paint. After hardening FINAL provides equable layer, which is easily sand able and also stays hard, tough, resistant to bend, stroke and vibrations. Also suitable for surfaces of hardwood and MDF-boards.



APPLICATION Get rid of rust and abrade the bonded surface by sandpaper P80. Surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. For maximum corrosion protection use epoxy or polyurethane basecoat. Do not apply the putty on reactive, single or nitrocellulose basecoats. For application we recommend to use the nozzle 1,8-3,0 mm and the air pressure 0,4-0,6 MPa. Spray putty can forms dry layer in thickness up to 1000 µm. We recommend to use the thinner VARIOL TRIN POLYESTER for modification of consistence before usage. Stir the content of the can well before usage!

HARDENING The putty is hardened with hardener (INICIÁTOR 40, transparent liquid) in weight ratio: - 100 parts of putty : 5 parts of hardener – recommended ratio for temperature 23°C The mixture must be homogenized perfectly and filtered.


SANDING The putty is dry against dust after 60 minutes and sand able after 120 minutes at temperature 23°C and hardening ratio 100:5. This time can be shortened by baking at temperature around 60°C. Dry sanding starts with sanding paper P80 and finishes with sanding paper P120-180. Wet sanding starts with sanding paper P120 and finishes with sanding paper P180-220. We recommend use the rotary or vibratory grinding machine.




PACKAGING - 1 kg, 4 kg, 15 kg – a can

DESCRIPTION

AND USAGE

FIL 4:1 PREMIUM is a high quality two-component acryl-urethane filler for car repair and industry. It has a high solid content, excellent flow properties, good stability when applied to vertical surfaces and high filling power. Cures rapidly in larger layers, perfectly sandable. It is an ideal base to ensure a high quality look of painted objects. FIL 4:1 PREMIUM finds wide usage in coating systems for coating fleet Railways, urban transportation and various engineering products.


VOC VOLUME VOC = 527 g / l This product complies with EU Directive (2004/42/EC), which gives for the preparation of this category (B /c) the limit value of volatile matter content of 540 g / l in finished product even after dilution in the recommended ratio.

APPLICATION Surface after filling sand with sandpaper P220-240 and perfectly degrease. It is applicated separately in 2-3 layers (40-60 µm). Each layer must be leaved to draught about 5-10 minutes. COVERAGE

1 liter of filler covers about 3,2 m2 in thickness of layer 100 µm.

HARDENING The filler is hardened with hardener TVRDIDLO 1:4 PREMIUM in volume ratio 4:1 - 4 parts of filler : 1 part of hardener. The mixture must be homogenized perfectly and filtered.

POT LIFE The filler is necessary to be used within 45 minutes after mixing with hardener at temperature 20°C and hardening ratio 4:1.

SANDING The filler is sandable after 3 hours at temperature 23°C and thickness of dry layer 150 µm, after 30-40 minutes at temperature 60°C. Dry sanding is done with sanding paper P400-800. Wet sanding is done with sanding paper P600-1000.

UPPER COATINGS It is possible to use all common paint systems on the filler. The filler withstands temperatures of 80-110 °C.

TOOLS CLEANING Dirty parts of tools for filling can be cleaned with VARIOL TRIN POLYURETAN or nitrothinner C-6000. Only non-hardened filler can be cleaned.

STORAGE It is necessary to ensure the temperature from +5°C to + 25°C and avoid direct solar radiation during storage and transport. Store in a cool and dry place. We guarantee shelf life and quality of the product for 12 months.

VARIOL TRIN POLYURETAN


TRIN POLYURETAN is thinner, which is used for adjusting the consistency of fillers VARIOL FIL 4:1 PREMIUM and VARIOL FIL 2K PUR. It is suitable also for thinning acrylic paints and cleaning of working tools polluted by all types of polyurethane coatings.

ENVIRONMENT TRIN POLYURETAN must not be used for filling places which are in direct contact with food and drinking water.

TOPEKOR


TOPEKOR contains effective preparation for dispersion of anorganic and organic sediments, and inhibitor which protect against corrosion in closed systems of central heating. TOPEKOR can be used also in circulating systems where is the possibility of formation of scale or corrosion.

MECHANISM AND TIME OF EFFICIENCY

Anticorrosive effects of TOPEKOR are based on formation of molecular layer, which avoid access of oxygen (which is dissolved in heating medium) to the surface of heating tube. Prevent sedimentation effect is based on slow chemical dissolving of sediments in slightly acid environment. The time of TOPEKOR treatment is not exactly limited, because dissolving of harder sediments (mainly in older systems) goes slowly and in the long term. Function of TOPEKOR in central heating system shows itself in better control over regulation valves and advanced efficiency of furnace.

DOSAGE Content of the container (500 ml) guarantee perfect protection of system with capacity up to 400 litres of water during minimally two years. TOPEKOR fundamentally improves heating efficiency of system thanks to removing of scale and enlarges its shelf life with limitation of corrosion. TOPEKOR should be dosed into circulating system in the beginning of heating season to obtain perfect shuffle by the water circulation. Content of the container must be shaked before usage and then filled into the heating system. Changing of the water is not necessary. Dosage should be done in rubber gloves. In case of protection of old systems highly polluted with scale, where the protection hasn´t been done before, we recommend to drain the system off and fill again with new dose of TOPEKOR after further 2 months, when the bigger sediments are dissolved.

ELECTROCHEMICAL STABILITY

The preparation TOPEKOR doesn´t advanced the conductivity of heating medium and also does not implement ions inside, which should influence electrochemical balance of the system. This is fundamental difference against common anticorrosive preparatives.

COMPATABILITY WITH MATERIALS

TOPEKOR does not work aggresively on common materials as: iron, steel, cast iron, zinc coating, copper, polyethylene, polypropylene, rubber, sealing rubbers, teflon. It gets on glycols in water antifreezing systems.

ENVIRONMENT TOPEKOR is ecological, biodegradable preparation. Draining of the central heating system into canalization has no harmful influence on environment.

STORAGE AND PACKAGING

Protect against freezing temperatures. We guarantee shelf life and quality of the product for 24 months. Packaging: - 500ml – plastic container (different container according to agreement)
