THE MARKET LEADER'S QUALITY DEMANDS

Murrplastik is one of the world's leading manufacturers of manual and computerised labelling systems.

For many years, the 'Made by Murrplastik' labelling system has proven its worth in difficult day-to-day operations – from manufacturing plants in the automotive industry on through to rail technology. LABELLING SOLUTIONS FROM A TO Z

Murrplastik offers labelling systems as compete solutions – everything from a single source, everything fits perfectly together.

Plotters, engraving machines, printers, laser machines and labelling software from Murrplastik can be used for

• A wide range of applications• Label retrofitting• Software and hardware as integrated or standalone solutions• Labelling as a service

Electronic component labelling has been a continually develop-ing field since labelling requirements began. Many years ago, Murrplastik Systemtechnik GmbH developed a labelling system that has since been used for the rapid and simple labelling of systems and components.

As far back as 1986, the existing manual ident system was enhanced by computer-aided labelling software and hardware.

With this approach to labelling, only a few components are required to achieve rapid, clean and durable results.

Over the last few years software user interfaces have changed considerably. User software has evolved to include various op-tions for engraving, printing, laser engraving and plotting. Data import from the various CAD systems is possible as well.

A constantly expanding range of materials makes it easier to adapt to today's label requirements.

All in all, the once hand written labels have developed into a universal labelling system for the widest range of requirements, with our principle being:

"WE SAVE YOU TIME".

Labelling of single wires, cables, conduits and media conduits

ENSURING YOU MEET THE STANDARD

European standard EN 60204 (VDE 0113 Part 1) stipulates the unique identification of cables, components and termi-nal blocks in switch cabinets.

This identification must be legible into the long term. Murrplastik's labelling system satisfies all of these requirements. The Murrplastik labelling system can be used to label • Individual wires• Terminals• Control gear• Equipment locations• Control and signal units• and assemblies from a wide range of manufacturers.

Data processing is handled by the ACS software. Data import protocols for CAD/CAE packages support the project-specific import of labelling information.

Murrplastik produces manufacturer-independent labelling systems.

It constitutes one of the most durable types of labelling, yet it is very economical.

• Extremely durable• Resistant to environment influences

and mechanical stress• Wide range of attachment options• Many different formats• Wide range of options• Cannot become detached• Label retrofitting possible

• Label sleeves• Label holder• Label plates

Service

FOR ANY APPLICATIONTAILORED LABELLING SERVICES

Murrplastik Systemtechnik supports companies for a huge-ly diverse range of labelling requirements. We have there-fore seen that companies often pay less for outsourcing than they do for in-house labelling.

The reasons for this are obvious. A company that, for example, develops and installs control units before also putting them into service is usually under a lot of financial and time pressure to provide the necessary equipment and training for employees. Apart from that, the labelling requirements are subject to contin-uous changes.

HUGE QUANTITIES IN NO TIME AT ALL

Our state-of-the-art equipment and a machine parkof he grandest scale make it possible for us to inscribe large quantities of labels with shortest possible lead times.

Full serviceMurrplastik's product and services program includes a vast standard pre-fabricated product range, e.g. pre-fitted sleeves, label holders with cable ties, project-specific packaging, or sim-ply the inscribed labels. Just as the customer wishes.

Exceptional characteristics...... for high standards. We offer these diverse types of labelling on various materials, tailored to your special application require-ments: Engraving, printing (thermal transfer / inkjet), plotting and laser inscribing.

number of well know-known and proven solutions for a variety of applications. What if you cannot find your answer? Direct a query to our ACS support.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE MANUFACTURERS

FINDING THE RIGHT COMBINATION

You know the manufacturer and the manufacturers' type designations to be inscribed. This is how you find the matching labelling materials:

Enter the first few letters of the manufacturer's name into the search mask. The name will auto-complete from the list of known manufacturers. Or you may preview the list of known manufacturers.

You can then enter the first few characters of the manufactur-er's type designation into the input field below. The system will again try to auto-complete the name from a list of known types. Again, you may of course view a list of all currently know type of the respective manufacturer first.

Should you enter a manufacturer or a type designation that is unknown to the system at the time of your search,a search mask for ACS Service will automatically open. We will then immediately propose an appropriate combination for your application.

Go to the "Service & Support/ACS Labelling" menu at our web-site, www.murplastik.de, to find a number of well know-known and proven solutions for a variety of applications. What if you cannot find your answer? Direct a query to our ACS support.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ENGRAVING MATERIALS

SIMPLE AND ADVANCED SEARCHES

JUST A FEW CLICKS TO REACH YOUR GOAL.

The more detailed your description of the labelling material, the shorter and more precise your search results will be.

Two input masks are available to select your search criteria: The standard search and the advanced (expert) search. The standard search offers input options for:• Material type• Model: Length, width and diameter

The advanced or expert search offers additional input options for:• Selection of surfaces and font colour• Selection of corner options (with/without radius etc.)• Selection of the adhesive type/adhesive strength• Selection of hole patterns and type, as well as material thickness

You may tweak the results further by changing the search tolerances This way you are able to produce additional results, which may not fit your dimension entries exactly. Should you not be able to produce a solution for your requirements, a query form for ACS Service will automatically open for you.

RAILWAY TECHNOLOGY SHRINK RANGES AND ECO HEAT-SHRINK CONDUITS

The shrink range is the maximum allowable change in diameter of a shrink hose under the effect of heat. The 80:20 rule applies for the proper selection of the heat-shrink conduit. The shrink rate is supposed to be at least 20% but not more than 80%. The maximum and recommended shrink ranges are listed in the table.
