About the Cover: Jim Wilson’s fascination with animals has influenced many aspects of his life including his career choice. A professional wildlife artist for over thirty five years, Jim spends many hours seeking out and researching his subjects for his detailed pen and ink drawings. He relies on reference material gathered from field work, museums, zoos, veterinary hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. His camera is a constant companion, providing a permanent collection of reference photos. Jim’s work has been featured in a variety of NAVC material since 1992.
The ideas, content and conclusions presented in these Proceedings are strictly those of the contributors and do not necessarily represent the viewpoint, position, or endorsement of the NAVC. The NAVC and the contributors do not take responsibility for information provided on dosages and methods of applications of drugs mentioned in these Proceedings. This information must be verified by the user from appropriate literature and/or additional sources. While all contributors were invited to submit manuscripts for the general sessions, some chose not to do so.
