The City of Subiaco, being a Local Authority under the provisions of theabovementionedAct, doesherebypursuantto the powersconferredupon it bythat Act and all other powers enabling it, make and published the followingby-laws-
1. In theseBy-laws, theModel By-laws Series"A", as amendedfrom timeto time, adoptedby the City of Subiacoby resolutionpublishedin theGovernmentGazetteon 15 October1964 andamendedfrom time to timeare referred to as "The Principal By-laws".
2. The Principal By-laws are amendedby deleting in Part V-LodgingHousesBy-laws 1 & 2 and Schedule"C" By-law 2 and inserting thefollowing new By-laws 1 & 2 and Schedule"C" By-law 2-
1. Every personapplying to be registeredas a keeperof a lodging-houseshall make application in the form of Schedule"A" hereto,and uponthegrantingof suchapplicationhe shall receivefrom thelocal authority a certificate in the form of Schedule"B".
Every such registration shall operate only during the currentfinancial year, and after the thirtieth day of Juneof that year thepremisesshall, unlessre-registered,becomeunregistered.
2. Every such person shall with such application lodge a fee asprescribedby Schedule"C" hereto,andshall annually, in the firstweek of July, make application for the renewal of registration ofhis premises,and with such application shall pay in accordancewith the said Schedule.
Provided that if the registrationfor any year shall commenceonor after the first day of Januaryof that year only half fees shallbe payable by the applicant.

51. 1 A personshall not engagein trade asan itinerant vendorof food unlesshe is the holder of a licensefrom the localauthority so to do.
2 Every persondesiring to engagein trade as an itinerantvendor of food shall, before so engaging,or if already soengagedthen during the first week of July in eachyear,apply to thelocal authority in the form of Schedule"C" fora license to carry on such trade, and shall with hisapplication deposit a fee of $150.
3 Upon the granting of an applicationunder this by-law, alicense shall be issued to the applicant in the form ofSchedule"D".
4 Every licensegrantedunderthis by-law shall operateonlyduring the period ending on the 30th day of June nextsucceedingthedateof issueandafter the30th day of Juneaforesaidshall ceaseto be of any force or effect.
