PRIMAVERA PRODUCTS

We produce mainly soybean and corn. But we also produce rice, millet and others. We are selfsufficient with meat, milk and a number of fruits and vegetables. Our corn is all GMO, but we produce GMO and NON GMO soybean and a little bit of organic soybean.

Our potential production capacity of soybeans is 1,000,000 metric tons a year. We can increase this production capacity by using a network of over 30 other producers all organized under Primavera.

Tocantins is the most recent state in Brazil and is only 26 years old. It has a huge growth potential and is indeed one of the fastest growing areas of Brazil. PRIMAVERA HISTORY

The company has its roots back to 1950, when Mr. Adelor Manuel de Almeida, began his activities as a food producer growing rice and yellow corn in the city Paraúnas in the state of Goiás. In 1968 the production of soya was added as another crop. He was a pioneer in growing soybeans in the region. This led to a number of awards as well as prompting a number of other farmers to start soybean production.

Moacir Almeida is the son of Mr. Adelor Manuel de Almeida. He is the founder of the Primavera. The company in its present form is 15 years old.In 2000 he moved the family business to Tocantins and started buying land and planting soybeans.He was a pioneer in Tocantins, where nobody had considered planting soybeans there on the Brazilian savannah, the cerrado.

With persistency and believing in the potential of agriculture in the state, the first year harvest of 2000 resulted in 48 "sacas", equivalent to nearly 3 metric tons, per hectare. An area of 5000 hectares produced 240.000 "sacas" of 60 kg, the equivalent of 14,400 metric tons. This on land that had never been cultivated before. It caused a race to buy land as other producers learned from Moacir Almeida the potential of Tocantins. The prices of land increased dramatically.

The production was a success and the company, Primavera Importação e Exportação de Cereais Ltda., was born. We call it Primavera for short.It soon became known as reference concerning production of soybean in Tocantins and is an important part of Tocantins being sought out today by many.

PRIMAVERA MANAGEMENT TEAM

In 2009 Dr. Nizar Sofani, International Sales Director, became a partner. In 2011 Mr. Pierre A. Larsen joined as Commercial Director and partner. Together with Mr. Moacir Vieira de Almeida as General Director.

The management team consists of the partners as well as a number of employees. It has expert knowledge in a large number of areas. To mention some: International finance, company finance, sales, economy, marketing, project management, information technology, business management, farm management and agronomy.

Today, Primary is known as a modern and successful company.

PRIMAVERA LAND AND CLIMATE

All our land is or used to be savannah. It is called the Brazilian cerrado. The land before treatment is nutrient poor and consists of sparse low vegetation. We use scientific methods in all aspects of the production. With laboratory analysis of every area of every field we know exactly what the land needs to create ideal conditions for our crops.

The climate is ideal for soybean. There is a lot of water and luminosity.

PRIMAVERA SUSTAINABILITY

A minimum of 40% of our land is kept as a permanent ecological resserve. It is always the most interesting parts of the landscape and the original vegetation. The selection is done with the help of biologists and agronomists. We use crop rotation and other methods to acertain the continued viability of the land. We use scientific methods in all aspects of our production. This assures we never use more than the necessary products.

PRIMAVERA PRODUCTION CYCLE

The wet season in Tocantins is from October to May. It is in this period we grow and harvest our crops. Soybeans are planted from the 25th of October to the beginning of January. The exact timing has to do with factors such as climate, type of soybeans, time, resources, and the desired size of a second crop. Soybeans take 90 to 130 days to mature depending on the variety. The harvest will be from February to April with delivery from late March or early April.

If a strong second crop of corn is necessary, then a precocious variety of soybeans (90 days) with early planting is chosen. Thus corn is planted right away after the harvest of soybean and harvested from June to SeptemberFinally we will plant what we call our third crop in the form of millet or just grass. This is mostly to secure the land, though it serves as food for cattle.

The crop rotation is actually good for the land.

PRIMAVERA SOYBEANS

Soybeans are our primary crop. It is an incredible plant which contains nearly all the vitamins and nutrients necessary for humans and animals.As farmers we find joy in planting it. Not only for its propensities and value as a finished product. But also because it actually mainly improves the soil where it is grown.

With the human population growing rapidly, consuming soybean products, and the same population becoming more rich and demanding more animal products produced from animals eating soybean, we are assured the demand will stay strong in the future.

PRIMAVERA SOYBEANS

We produce three kind of soybeans.• Soybeans Transgenic, genetically modified, GMO• Soybeans Conventional, not genetically modified, NON GMO• And a little bit of Organic Soybeans

Of course the organic variant is not genetically modified.

We are also experts in the production of NON GMO soybean. This is much more difficult to produce than GMO, as you have to be more careful concerning protection and follow-up. There is no chance at all that it becomes contaminated as the production of NON GMO is done on farms (fazendas) dedicated to NON GMO. Also the storage for NON GMO is uniquely NON GMO.

We use a number of different seeds. All varieties are made for being grown on the cerrado in a tropical climate.

PRIMAVERA SOYBEAN SPECIFICATIONS

Our soybean is sold as Brazilian Yellow Soybeans.

Our soybean is of a very high quality. It has been repeatedly sold to a number of clients around the world.

The specification is in accordance with the rest of Brazil. It can be varied a bit on some parameters but here are the basics:

• Type: for human consumption• Moisture: 14 %max• Protein: 35%• Oil content: 18,5% min

PRIMAVERA CORN

Corn is usually a secondary crop for us. We will normally plant corn after the primary crop of soybean. However, we do have the possibility of working corn as the primary crop. The difference is one of yields.

Compared to soybean, corn costs a little more to produce per hectare, but the yield is much higher. But also the price per ton is much lower.

We currently only produce GMO, genetically modified corn.

What we sellWe only sell agricultural products. But we do also sell some refined soybean products such as soybean meal. We prefer to sell only products produced by ourselves or derived from products produced by ourselves. However, we also are associated with 30+ other farmers. From time to time we sell on their behalf. In addition we can ask them to produce for us, when we run out of own production capacity.

Export LicenseTo export from Brazil it is necessary to have an export license. We are one of the only companies in Tocantins to have a rare and very valuable export license covering all of Brazil with no limit on the type of product and at very large annual amounts.

Type Of Sales We LikeCustomer relationship is very important to us. We prefer to deal with the end client directly and we prefer to keep long term relations. We basically enter into two kinds of sales. Spot sales, which often are to be delivered immediately or soon. But our primary sales effort is on planting and producing for specific clients. This permits us to have the good long term customer relations as well as controlling price, quality and delivery to our high criteria.
