For question 1, the average age for the people taking my survey are aged between 14-18 this connotes to how I will be aiming my magazine at these people. I will also look at the age group for “Kerrang!” as my target group will be similar to theirs.

For question 2, the main thing that people look for on the front cover of a music magazine is who is on the cover which connotes to how I will need a large image on my magazine front cover.

For question 3, people chose concert tickets as the promotion that would make them want to buy a music magazine which connotes to how this will be the promotion that I will use.

For question 4, ‘Image of the star’ got the most votes for the most important feature which connotes to how I will make sure that the image is clear and of good quality.

For question 5, people said that they most likely have a light read through which connotes to how I will make my articles punchy and make the main details clear.

For question 6, 70% of people chose out of a weak yes and a strong no which connotes to how I will need to include some big name bands and stars as part of my content.

For question 7, the majority of people who took my survey purchase 0-3 types of music per month which connotes to how. I should promote some albums and songs in my magazine for people to consider buying.

For question 8, most of the people fell into the bracket of £1.50 - £2 although a lot of people would spend anywhere from £2.50 - £4 on a magazine so I think I will average it and price my magazine at around £2.50.

For question 9, a lot of people most likely buy rock magazines followed by pop magazines. Because my magazine is inspired by “Kerrang!” it has to be a rock magazine but this shows me that rock music is a popular genre of music.

For question 10, many people feel that music influences their life a lot which connotes to how I have to make my magazine relate to the culture of rock music and use colours and images associated with the rock music genre to make it appropriate for my audience.
