PRI-MAX® PR780 PRIMARY REDUCER SSI’s PRI-MAX® PR780 is a heavy duty, low-speed, high-torque industrial primary shredder designed for high capacity volume reduction.

ONE MACHINE, MANY POSSIbIlITIESParts kits are available to change product output sizing and capacity. Available sizes range from 4” (10cm) to 12” (30cm) openings in the machine.

SIMPlE & FlEXIblE ▪ All contact parts are individually replaceable, with no “bolt-

on” pieces to worry about getting damaged by process material. Wear parts are accessed from one end of the machine, just like SSI’s long-proven Dual-Shear® and Quad® product lines. Cutter life may also be extended by hard-facing in the machine.

PROVEN RElIAbIlITY ▪ Uses SSI’s patented ACLS™ advanced cutter locking

system; the same system used on all our Dual-Shear® and Quad® products.

▪ Incorporates the same proprietary bearing protection system found on all our Dual-Shear® and Quad® products.

The SSI Model PR780 is designed specifically for tough applications, including those with materials considered “non-shreddable” for other machines, such as heavy tramp steel. The open cutting table and load-sensing drive apply maximum torque to “digest” heavier material with minimal disruption. When torque isn’t required, the shafts run faster, efficiently processing lighter, commingled materials to the nominal size of the openings. Like all SSI products, this machine incorporates proven features, built with performance, versatility, on-line reliability and ease of maintenance in mind. With processing rates from 10 to 40 tons per hour, SSI’s PRI-MAX® PR780 is one of the most comprehensive multi-material reducers in the world.
