Alumni Interaction

The Department of Computer Science,

PIEMR organized an interactive session of

alumni of 2010-14 batch with the students

on 24th July 2018. The speakers of the

session were Ms. Mahak Garg - Software

Developer, BatchMaster Software Pvt. Ltd.

and Mr. Himanshu Gupta - M.Tech

(DAVV). The session offered valuable tips

for cracking campus placements. The

reminiscent alumni shared their college

memories with the students.

On July 10, 2018 Promotional activity of

Mountain Dew is organized. Students along

with faculty members enthusiastically

first group of the 7th-semester students on

27th July 2018. The presentations were

Science PIEMR on 28th July 2018. The

Mr Amit Asija, GM Marketing - Idea

Cellular had an interactive session with BE

students on 27th July 2018. The topic for the

session was "Telecom - Today and

Tomorrow". He gave valuable insights into

current trends of the telecom industry, career

opportunities for engineering graduates and

upcoming technologies.

CSE Faculty & Students @ IIM, Indore

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. has launched the

start-up scheme to promote promising start-

ups and nurture an eco-system conducive for

innovations in the domestic hydrocarbons

sector. For this an interactive session with

the students regarding the scheme was held

in IIM Indore on 9th August 2018. PIEMR

BTech students are proud to be part of this.

Wankhede

Dr. Abhay Wankhede delivering speech

On 3rd August, a motivational and

inspirational workshop on human values was

conducted by Dr. Abhay Wankhede, an

Agricultural Scientist - College of

Agriculture Indore for B.Tech 1st year CSE

students of PIEMR. He is also Madhya

Pradesh state academic coordinator of

AICTE and coordinator of Value Education

Cell, RVSKVV,Gwalior.

Interactive session of Mr. Virat Khutal

A discourse on startups with Mr. Virat

Khutal - CEO & Founder of Twist Mobile

and Co-founder of BitPredict was organized

at PIEMR on August 10, 2018. Mr. Khutal

enlightened the students on how to calculate

risk and ROI for a startup with live

examples. He also illuminated on the

importance of calculating risk to start a

venture.

Independence day Celeberation

On August 15, 2018 PIEMR successfully

organized Independence Day, The ceremony

was graced by Colonel N.K. Mathur. Dr.

Deshpande Director, PIEMR welcomed the

guest and said that we should all feel pride

of being the part of this glorious nation.

Teacher’s day Celebration

On September 5, 2018 the students of the

department successfully organized

Teacher’s Day for their teachers. Various

competitions like Quiz competitions were

organized for teachers by the students.

large number of students participated in the

activity.

Mr. Ravi Shrivastav SDM addressing students

A session on voter's education and

awareness was conducted on 30th Aug in

PIEMR for 1st year students by Mr. Ravi

Shrivastav - Sub-Divisional Magistrate

(SDM) Vijaynagar, Indore. He emphasised

on enrolling for a voter card by every

individual and use the voting right wisely.

Engineer’s day Celebration

Engineer’s day Celebration at PIEMR, Indore

On September 15, 2018 the students of the

department successfully organized

Engineer’s Day. Various competitions like

Quiz competitions, Coding Competition,

Design and Poster Making Competitions

were organized for the students. Hon.

organized under the banner of CSI and

ACM student chapter.

To celebrate Engineers Day, the E-cell of

PIEMR organized a contest for the most

innovative ideas in "Technology for

Agriculture and Food". The panel of judges

Dont's on 4th July 2018 which was

presented by Dr. Sunil Pathak, working as

Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Engineering

Technology at Universiti Malaysia Pahang

(UMP). Dr. Manojkumar Deshpande,

Principal PIEMR extended a warm welcome

to Dr. Sunil Pathak. Dr. Pathak guided the

faculties on how to write a research paper
