Therma-Tru Previews New Products at 2017 NAHB International Builders’ Show

MAUMEE, OHIO – Therma-Tru continues to deliver styles homeowners are looking for while producing high-quality, reliable products. This year attendees of the 2017 NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) in Orlando, Florida, will get a firsthand look at Therma-Tru’s 2017 portfolio of new on-trend products. New door styles, glass designs and stylish handlesets will be showcased in booth W4041 at IBS from January 10 through January 12, 2017.

This year it was important for Therma-Tru to launch products that can be customized to fit the homeowner’s style, and create a statement look while providing security and privacy. “With multiple generations purchasing homes and craving standout entries that fit their personalities, we are excited to offer new products that meet their needs,” says Donna Contat, director of brand management for Therma-Tru Corp.

Most new products will be available for sale beginning February 6, 2017, and include:

Smooth-Star Shaker-Style Doors & Sidelites A transitional update to the historic Shaker style, new Smooth-Star Shaker-style doors and sidelites feature recessed panels and flush-glazed glass to deliver a simple design with broad appeal. Flat simulated divided lites (SDLs) can be added to the door and sidelites to complement window grid patterns and other architectural home elements.

Wide Simulated Divided Lites (SDLs) Add contemporary style to the entry with 3-½" wide SDL bars. These bars feature a flat profile to complement the seamless appearance of flush-glazed glass for a clean, sleek look. Available for Fiber-Classic Oak Collection and Smooth-Star doors.

Internal Blinds 47" Glass Options Now available in 47" glass size for doors and sidelites, internal blinds provide the privacy and convenience of a cordless blind enclosed between glass. Homeowners can now create a 3/4-lite look for 6'8" doors and a 1/2-lite look for 8'0" doors. Available in both wood-grained, stainable and smooth, paintable doors and sidelites.

Grip-Style Handlesets for Multi-Point Locking Systems (MPLS) Two new grip-style handlesets will be available for the multi-point locking system, offering an intuitive option with on-trend aesthetics. With a turn of the thumb or key, three locks engage at the door’s most critical points. These handlesets pair well with home styles ranging from Traditional to Contemporary.

Digital Training for New Products The Unlock the Opportunities sweepstakes kicks off on January 9, 2017. This year’s program uses interactive online learning modules to educate our customers about our new products. Therma-Tru Debuts On-Trend Products to Enhance Curb Appeal for 2017

This year it was especially important to keep in mind that consumers don’t want cookie cutter homes. Homeowners are seeking curb appeal, custom options and higher end products.

“For 2017 it was important for us to keep in mind that homeowners want customized, standout entries that make a statement. This year’s Smooth-Star® Shaker-style door and sidelite product launch includes a Craftsman-lite 2-panel Shaker door with flush-glazed glass, and a 2-panel Craftsman Shaker door without glass. The Shaker-style doors and Craftsman-lite sidelites feature recessed panels for a true Shaker-style aesthetic that adds curb appeal and a fresh new look to the entry. Therma-Tru Launches 2017 “Unlock the Opportunities” Sweepstakes

MAUMEE, OHIO – Therma-Tru Corp. has commenced its annual “Unlock the Opportunities” national sweepstakes for dealers, builders, remodelers, fabricators and distributors. Featuring daily and weekly prizes, this year’s program uses online learning modules to educate participants on the new products for 2017.

“The program utilizes our online Education Center to deliver a simple, but comprehensive way for industry customers to learn about our products,” says Chuck Clark, channel marketing manager at Therma-Tru Corp. “The interactive learning modules engage participants in a unique way for them to experience and learn about the new products Therma-Tru has to offer in 2017.”

The program begins by showing participants a list of available learning modules for each new product. The participant selects the new product they would like to learn about, and is presented with an interactive module tailored to the new product, followed by a 10 question quiz. Upon completion they will be eligible for prizes based on their quiz score.

Participants who answer six or more questions correctly will be entered for a chance to win one weekly prize, which is a plane ticket gift card worth $1,000. If participants answer eight or more questions correctly, they will receive an instant prize key. The prize key will unlock a door to unveil whether it’s a winner of one of the three daily Yeti® RamblerTM Tumbler prizes.

“Based on their score, participants can retry the quiz or accept their score as is,” says Clark. “However, prize eligibility is dependent on how they perform on the quiz.”

Participants who complete all six new product learning modules and answer at least eight questions correctly on each of the quizzes will receive their choice of a Therma-Tru® T-shirt or hat.
