We celebrate our thirty-ninth year of collegiate and corporate partnership with the Annual Diversity Engineering Forum and Awards Programs. We are also excited to hold the second annual Corporate Engineering Trade Show. This annual event is sponsored by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Latinos in Science and Engineering (MAES), and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE). The Corporate Trade Show provides your company with the opportunity to interact directly with engineering students, with the goal of providing students an inside look at how engineers make an impact within your company. During the event, your company may inform participants of your values, current projects, engineering roles in your company, recent developments, and other important aspects within the scope of your company’s work. Companies are encouraged to bring examples of your technology, videos of manufacturing processes, latest tools and PPE used in industry, or any materials that can educate students about what it is like to be an engineer in your industry. The Trade Show presents an ideal opportunity to excite and educate students about your company through interactive and hands-on displays.

NSBE/MAES, SWE, and SHPE/SASE also plan awards programs as a part of this annual event. The awards programs are designed to connect company sponsors with society members who have demonstrated excellence. Scholarships are presented at each organization’s awards program, which all take place March 30-31, 2015. We encourage your participation and look forward to seeing you there.

RegistrationParticipation in the Corporate Engineering Trade Show is on a first-come, first-served basis. Six-foot exhibit tables are available for a fee of $450 each (or $400 for early registration). The registration fee will sponsor up to three company representatives. You must purchase another table to accommodate additional representatives. Return the registration form with appropriate fees as early as possible, or register online at www.conf.purdue.edu/ tradeshow. The early registration deadline is February 19, 2016. Registrants after January 31 will be accepted only on a space-available basis. Written requests for refunds must be received by February 19, 2016. Purdue University is not responsible for costs incurred due to cancellation.

The exhibitor is responsible for setup and take-down of the exhibit, and for prepaid and prearranged return shipment of all exhibit materials.

Awards Banquet InformationThe National Society of Black Engineers and Latinos in Science and Engineering Awards Banquet – $90 per person.

The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers Awards Banquet – $90 per person.

The Society of Women Engineers Awards Banquet – $90 per person.

These fees cover the cost of the luncheon or banquet for one company representative and several members of each student organization.

LodgingA block of rooms has been reserved for the Trade Show at the Union Club Hotel. Call 800/320-6291 to secure your reservation. Mention the Diversity Corporate Engineering Trade Show block to guarantee availability. Requests should be received by February 19, 2016, for preferential consideration and confirmed reservations.

Purdue University is on Eastern Time throughout the calendar year. Plan your arrival and departure times accordingly.

ParkingIf you drive, please park in the Grant Street Garage across the street (east) from the Purdue Memorial Union. Parking is free on weekends and for those staying in the Union Club Hotel.
