LETTER TO MISSED PARENTS

Dear family members,

We are sorry we missed you at the last Family Support meeting. At the meeting, we shared some information about some special things that have been going on in your child’s classroom and we wanted to share this news with you as well.

Throughout this school year, your child’s classroom has been involved in a grant project using ARRA funding. The focus of the grant has been positive behavior support. We have incorporated timers, pictures, fidget toys and other items to help increase concentration and attention to task. We have also incorporated a Social Skills curriculum that focuses on following rules, making friends and teaches children problem solving skills. Please consider joining us at the next parent meeting to learn more about this exceptional project. All of the things we are doing work at home too!

Please accept this gift as reminder to come and see what we are all about. The gift you have received is also available for use in our classroom.

Sincerely,

The ARRA Grant Team

MY STAY AT CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

MY HOSPTIAL STAY WITH MOLLY WAS VERY COMFORTING.MOLLY MADE ME FEEL VERY SAFE. EVERYBODY AT THE HOSPITAL LIKED MOLLY.

MOLLY MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE AT NIGHT WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR BED. I WAS GLAD TO HAVE MOLLY COME WITH ME TO THE HOSPITAL. ALL THE DOCTORS LIKED MOLLY TOO. MOLLY HELPED ME BE BRAVE WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR SURGERY; AND WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR ME TO GIVE BLOOD. MOLLY AND I MADE A NEW FRIEND, HER NAME WAS SAMANTHA. SAMANTHA WAS MY ROOMMATE. SAMANTHA REALLY LIKED MOLLY TOO AND WANTED TO KNOW IF MOLLY COULD COME SEE HER SOON.

THANKS FOR LETTING MOLLY COME ALONG WITH ME.
