Ripple Effect Research• What is the impact of alcohol in Glasgow’s

communities? • Answer, via 4,700 people, showed 95%

‘negative impact’ responses, including: – Impact on ‘sense of safety’– Increase in antisocial behaviour– Parks being ‘no-go’ areas– Increase in litter– Abuse/intimidation by (young) people re. alcohol sale– Increase in violence and increase in vandalism
