AL-AKHIRAH means…

• literally translates into English as ‘the last day’ or ‘the end’.• Greek term = “the science or teaching concerning the last things.”

• Islamic belief system:Al-Akhirah ‘Hereafter’ ≠ Al-Dunya

• not only the life of this world but also the life in the world to come.

The prophet says: ‘this world is the growing field or the

planting field for the next world’’.

Believing in Al-Akhirah

• The 5th element in the Fundamental of Islam• Believe that this world will end one day• Everyone will be gathered on the Day of

Judgement• Denying Al-Akhirah = denying Allah

Necessity of Believing in Al-Akhirah

• To obtain reward from Allah.• To be cautious in everything that we do.• To understand the true purpose of life.

• To ensure well prepared for Al-Akhirah.• To raise the quality and quantity of ibadah.• To avoid being among losers.

advantages with a greater choice that has an eternal implication.

qualitatively level of his deeds but also accelerates their quantitative growth.

• Prevent us from wasting our lives in transitory.

rebellious desires. • Preserving social security and preventing the

spread of corruption , crime and violation of law.

Ways to inculcate the believing in Al-Akhirah

• Seek knowledge and has faith in Allah’s promise toward mukminin.

• Do the zikrullah either individualy or collectively.

• Think and learn from the natural disaster.

Ways to inculcate the believing in Al-Akhirah

• Visit and perform funeral prayers and funeral escort to the cemetery.

• Investigate and study about the Quranic verses.

• Organize forum or talk about Al-Akhirah.

• Join any religious event organized by the university (Qiyamul Lail).

Conclusion • Belief in life after death encourages us as a student

to lead a good life on earth, since we know the fate that awaits us if we ignore the commands and warnings of Allah given in the Qur’an.
