DJB ‘s existing Water Gems software will be leveraged in Water network
analysis & the result is ported back to DSSDI database through COTS Desktop

Collection process
• Applications, cash, cheques/draft collected by
Jeevan centers are brought to 40 nodal
centers.

deposited in accounts of the respective

E-Procurement: Objectives
• E-Procurement is one of the Mission Mode
Projects under National e-Governance Plan
(NeGP) Govt. of India;
• Platform is designed to promote transparency,
efficiency and is secure all type of
procurement;
• End to End solution for the departments
• Proven and Simple technology;
Steps involved in e-tendering
• Training of Govt officials and private venders; (5000 officials and 6500 vendors trained)
• Registration of private venders with e-
procurement platform(5500 registered so far)
• Issuance of digital signatures to Govt officials
and private venders( issued to 7000 persons )
• Launch of tenders using e-procurement;
• Venders can respond to tenders by using
digital signatures.

• Cabinet approved e-procurement on DGS&D platform on 26 Dec 2007;
• Agreement has been signed with DGS&D to implement e-Procurement in GNCTD.
– 5000 Govt officials and 6500 private vendors trained in e-
procurement platform ;
– 50 Departments have started using e-procurement;
– More than 1500 digital signatures issued to various
tendering authorities in the Government by DSIIDC.
