How we worked on the « 3 little pigs » tales

• The 6-year-old pupils made the summary writing

• The 7-year-old pupils :– made the summary writing verifications (well

understanding, etc)– sent instructions to pupils from 3 to 5 for the drawings

– 8-9-10 year-old pupils are going to read tales in the 5-6-7 year-old-pupil class

– Each class reads tales every week

• Some pupils with difficulties have worked in a different way on the project with the help of a specialized teacher

Difficulties we met during the project

• Managing the project by two teachers (Fabienne and me) and try to motivate the other teachers

• Sharing the same tales between 8 classes => takestimes, the more we are, the more it takes time

• The work on a tale takes many times in our class => difficultto share and integrate our « normal institutional work » and the Comenius project work

• 12 weeks to work on 4 tales is ambitious or maybe we have to be less ambitious ourselves with our work

Positive aspects of the Comenius project in our school

• « Happy new year » letters from and to partners• Reading and display of the partner letters at the school

– Writing letters to partners

• Collaboration between the teachers on a common project

• All the class integrated in the project

• Each class gives its work for a final common support

• Pupils motivated by the project

• Cultural opening for pupils– Every partner speaks english to communicate although it’s not the

maternal language so english is universal language we must learn– Some people in the world speak other language as french and english– Comparison spanish and french culture

(education, landscape, grounds, monuments, etc) by viewing Murcia video film we took

– Better know the Europe
