PEDASI

Pedasi is comprised of five districts of which are: Pedasi, Los Asientos, Purio and Oria Arriba.The town of Pedasi, head of the district of the same name is located southeast of the province of Los Santos. Has large extensions of beaches like El Arenal, El Toro, La Garita, Los Destiladeros, among others. Azuero peninsula is one of the main crop of Panama and Pedasi. Panama and Venao Beach are at the southern tip of the Azuero peninsula. Downtown Pedasi is a small, quaint and main attraction is a beautiful square. The square is the heart of Pedasi and is surrounded by a handful of restaurants, coffees, shops and bars.

There is often live music or a party in downtown Pedasi, the different types of travelers and investors come to Pedasi and Venao Beach. If you are looking for a green, a lover of boutique hotel with an affectation of unique designs or art invensor with a vision that will have a great time here and are likely to find tranquility.

Iguana Island

Is a wildlife refuge island that can be reached by a boat ride of 20 minutes from El Arenal beach. The 52 hectare island is surrounded by a coral reef, which gives white sand beaches: El Cirial beach and peole El Faro. The refuge is home to over 62 species of birds, and an important nesting site for the frigate, with a population of over 5000. The island is also home to several species of reptiles, including the black iguana, which gives its name to the island. It also has a marine area, including 40 areas of a channel for migrating humpback whales between June and October, and one of the largest well-preserved coral reef in Panama. The reef is home to a wide variety of fish, rays, eels and turtles.

Venao Beach

Venao Beach is one of the main attractions in the Pedasi area due to surfing. The surf culture has brought two beach bars and restaurants under two huts and a new beach hotel sprouting your around. Venado Beach - which is the official name, but all the locals and foreigners simply called Venao Beach, consists by half Moon bay. The center of the beach offers surfing throughout making it a popular destination for local and international surfers. Venao Bay Beach is flanked by two equally stunning bays and beaches with protected snorkeling and swimming beaches of La Playita of the West and the secluded, inaccessible, La Madrona to the East Bay consists of several beaches.

Venao Beach beaches are surrounded by many streams, hills and remnants of a tropical dry forest that spread throughout the peninsula in earlier times. The forest is home to many species of animals such as howler and spider monkeys, local deer and iguanas.
