Present Simple: The "present simple" is the simplest and most important of English tense. The construction of the present simple (Simple Present) English is really easy, having the structure:[SUBJECT] + [VERB] (infinitive without to).

Uses: The present simple is used to talk about things that usually happen. Unlike the Spanish, the simple present is not used to talk about something that is happening at the moment in which we speak. It is typically used with the present simple adverbs of time:Always, every day, usually, often sometimes. Example:I always talk to my mother on Sunday.

He never eats vegetables.

Past Simple: tense is used in the English language to narrate events that occurred at a specific time in the past. It corresponds in its meaning to the simple present perfect tense in Spanish.Uses:

The past tense is used to talk about a concrete action that began and ended in the past. In this case equivalent to the Spanish preterite. Generally, we use it with adverbs of time as "last year", "yesterday", "last night" ...

Examples: Tom stayed at home last night.

Kate worked last Saturday

In general, "going to" for concrete plans, it is used when we are sure that something will happen."It will" Used with voluntary actions

Example: Will you help me move?

They will clean their rooms

Present Continuos: Para formar el presente continuo se utiliza el verbo auxiliar “to be” y el gerundio (infinitivo + “-ing”) del verbo.

Uses: The present continuous is used to talk about something that is happening at the moment we speak. Example:

I’m studying now: He’s eating at the moment:

Past Continuos: The structure of the Past Continuous (Past Continuous Tense) is:[SUBJECT] + was / were + [verb with -ing

Uses: The past continuous use it for a long action and in the past was interrupted. The action is constantly interrupted past and the action that is causing disruption in the past simple. "When" and "while" indicate the use of simple and continuous past. In general, we use the simple past directly after "when" and continued past after "while".

Example: Jose called while I was watching the news.

He was walking to work when he fell.

Future Continuos: The construction of the continuous progressive future in English is:SUBJECT + will be + verb-ing COMPLETION

Uses: The continued future use it for a long action will happen in the future and will be interrupted. The action is interrupted is in continuous future and the action that causes the interruption is in the present tense.

Examples: Jose will be [Jose’s going to be] watching the news when you call.

Will it be [Is it going to be] raining when l leave?
