Term 2: Footsteps: Students perform at a whole school concert.

Media Arts

Term 3: 'Book Creator'. Create a mini book using the App.

Drama

Term 4: 'Three Little Pigs'. Students act out the story in small groups.

Technologies has 2 subjects:

Design and Technologies

• Read the story, 'Dear Zoo'. Linked to Science unit.

• They are to design a container to transport their animal from the zoo.

Digital Technologies

Students have a 1 hour lesson every fortnight with a specialist teacher.

Topics:

• Digital systems - Hardware and software.

• Explore data - Showing data on a digital graph.

• Sequences - Spheros.

• Online safety - Behaving responsibly online.

Movement and Physical Activity

Students participate in 2 half an hour lessons per week.

Swimming

Students participate in a 1 hour lesson at the town pool.

DAILY ROUTINES

Prep Timetable

School begins at 8.40am

First lunch break is at 10.40am

Second Lunch break is at 1.00pm

Brain break is at 2.15pm

School finishes at 3.00pm

Each classroom has a fridge to store student lunches

Tuckshop

Tuckshop is open from Wednesday to Friday.

• Online ordering is available

Bus Routines

Children arriving by bus are walked to their classroom.

ASSEMBLIES AND COMMUNICATION

Whole School Assembly

Every Thursday at 8:40 am

• A class will present a prayer assembly.

• 'Workers of the Week' awards presented.

• 'Making Jesus Real' (MJR) awards are presented.

• Birthdays are celebrated.

• One large backpack type bag that your child can easily open.

• A broad brimmed hat.

• A spare set of clothing including underwear.

• A large box of tissues

• Art shirt.

• A4 Display folder.

• 8 scrapbooks for Mathematics, Literacy, Science and Art
