Application:Designed for applications requiring exceptional performance, high stability and low ripple such as mass spectrometers, electron microscopes,surface science and analysis equipment, and nuclear instruments.

These modules are the ideal high voltage sources for mass-spectrometry, electron gun, ion gun, nuclear and other applications. Control of the output voltage is by external 0 to 10V analogue voltage or potentiometer.
The units are pin compatible with the HPR family, but designed with semiconductor switches for polarity reversing. The modules can directly upgrade existing designs by replacing HPR units with identical mounting, space, and wiring constraints. Better load transient recovery and reduced levels of partial discharge are just some of the improvements made over the existing HP modules.
Outputs can be via screened cable or high voltage connector at rear of PSU, with the output scale optionally trimmable to 0.2%.
All units are short-circuit proof and constructed from conservatively rated components. Many years of field operation have proven the reliability of these components, and circuit techniques.

Control of output: 0V to +10V for 0% to 100% ±2%, (Zin = 200Kohm)

Polarity control: Low <0.8V = +ve, High >2.0V or OC =-ve
Voltage monitor: 0V to +10V ±2% for 0% to 100%. (Zout= 10k)
Precision current monitor: 0V to +10V ±2%, Offset ±0.1% of FS for 0% to 100%. (Zout= 10k)
Line regulation: <10ppm over full input voltage range
Load regulation: <10ppm for 100uA to maximum load
Drift (after 1 hour warm up): <50ppm per hour, <100ppm over an 8 hour period
Protection (all outputs): Protected against intermittent arcing and continued short circuit to ground
