Life is a journey starting from parents to brothers

and sisters, friends, loved ones, spouses, relatives,

acquaintances, professional career contacts and

lastly strangers.

The meaning of life, the purpose of life, what is

happy and meaningful life and how to achieve it ?How to evolve it? How to live it? Has been a matter

of many discourses and treatises. But the search is

still on, to find out the real meaning of life and find

ways to unfold it, with the modern search lights of

scientific research and technological innovation.

Here dearest Dhvani dwells into her inner self, the

core of the matrix. Prayer, belief, wisdom, discipline,

truth, innocence, love, family, strength and

motherland without which as she rightly put it, any

ones life is not only null, but also void.

These are the petals gifted by Lord Almighty from the

very touchdown of the baby on planet earth, to a

well accomplished perfect human being. To identify,

to recognize, to understand, to develop and to

harness, these god given gifts for ones own

blossoming of personality is the very purpose of this

book.

Dhvani Sharmas Perfect 10 endeavour is a step in

this direction. It is an articulation of a beautiful

thought of Dhvani Sharma, who her self is emerging

as a youthful splendor of talent, with her Masters

and research in Bioscience, a NCC senior under

officer and connoisseur of art and literature. A

Contrary to popular belief, the process of

writing a book is not about proclaiming to

the world what you know, but its a lesson

of self discovery and personal growth. Throughout

this literary journey, I have relied on my family and

friends for constant guidance and inspiration. In my

inner circle of family and friends, I have many

Last year I had a

meeting with

H i m a l a y a s .

Roaming in the valleys of

Himalayas and visiting the char-

dhams was the turning point of

my life. The sheer vastness in

the majesty of mountains

confirms this thought in my

mind that the oldest and the

most unique civilization of the

world must have started in the

valley of Himalayas. I felt

privileged to be an ancestral

part of it. I had been to a family vacations with my

parents, bhaiya-bhabhi, family friends and my

nephew Arya who is full of lifes energy. From my

family virtues and my mothers upbringing we

always believed that there is always gods hand in

purpose of our being. One early morning sight from

the open window was unique in all respects and it

was one of the most beautiful movements in my life.

I had seen my 2 year old nephew sitting in the park

cross legged and eyes closed, when I called him he

told me "Bhua abhi to mei dhyan kar raha hun".

I called my family, we all saw him, had a laugh riot

and then started playing with him. Later in the day

that scene kept coming back to me again and again. It

asked me a few questions. What would the god say

when he will listen to an innocent and selfless prayer

of a two year old? What will the two year old child

without worldly reasoning ask from the god?

Definitely he will not ask for favors, rescue, selfish

worldly desires or false achievements. He would ask

him for something genuine, noble and pure. When

we went to char dhams and worshiped, I asked my

self what my prayer of life should be?

This book is my search of answers for this question. I

think that it can become our journey through the

simple things in life that can take us to finding out

our own self.

parmatama dena, daya karna hamari aatma me

shudhta dena. We asked for true knowledge which

gives us freedom from ignorance and purity of the

soul.

I believe that prayer is normal for human beings. Just

as we need to drink, eat and breath to stay alive so I

think we also need to pray to be fully alive.

We are not just the physical beings for whom survival

and procreation is the only purpose. We are spiritual

beings as well, with the capacity of developing deeper

relationships with the world and with a destiny that

stretches beyond our materialistic things.

Some people will say no one and nothing hears or

listens to our prayers. They contend that we are just

giving expressions to our deepest thoughts and

concerns. We are deluded if we think our prayers are

going to make any difference to the world, while

others believe that any thing is possible through

power of prayers. Even miracles and extraordinary

wonders.

Why then the worship? Because we presume that

this God who is so different from us, is a false notion.

We can concieve or understand that he also lies in

the very depth of our being. He is closer to us then

we are to ourselves. Worshiping is not at all uttering

the words of flattery. It is an attempt to

communicate with the God. It is a kind of subliming

of self that exposes the divinity within us.

True worship is your communication with God. You

must remember you speech and words should come

from your heart, while his voice will come in a divine

way.

There is so much noise in the modern world that is it

hard to listen. You are bombarded with day to day

disturbances of competitive careers, news, media,

glamour. Amidst such cacophony being silent has

become strange. You have to first find some silence

because silence comfort you and unravels you to

your inner self.

If I am praying I have to start with worshiping. When I

see Almighty Himalayas, ever flowing Ganges and

the cascading Indian Ocean, I feel the Almighty is all

around and omnipresent. Words fails you in the face

of such supreme power and beauty, you feel

overwhelmed and only bow down with the deepest

reverence to that superior power and feel most

grateful that he has bestowed this glorified human

form to all of us .

Worship is not an isolated event but a continuous

process. Once you hear him speaking to you, you will

go on and on because it is an eternal communication.

You want to go on listening to him because he takes

you to his divine world. You will want to set aside

special hours taken out from you daily chores

because you know that these moments are blissful.

We are not monks, we have our own domestic

responsibilities, but the way forward is to have short

regular sessions rather than lengthy occasional and

irregular periods of prayer.

Prayer is like getting a nectar of 1000 books together

but it still does not leave you exhausted or heavy. To

start with, aim for short but regular sessions of prayers.

Create rituals to express the specialness of the session

and spend some time with your own silence.

I would emphasize that one should set aside a period

of prayers every day. Setting aside because prayer is

not an emergency communication. The prayer

period is like a meal for the spirit, its essential for our

well being and our creativity. Think of prayer as a

celebration of God. These twenty minutes per day

should be the time when you dont get exhausted or

get over whelmed by the thought of things which

you are going to do later in the day.

Choose an appropriate place where

you dont spend your most of day

time, which is quite and away from

the distractions to make a call to

God and listen to his words. Put

yourself to divine disposal and forget

yourself in several minutes of solemn

silence.

When you finish, dont suddenly

rush away from the thought of

prayer, bid a farewell, offer a thanks

for the meeting and put in a request

for the next. Think of someone you

want to help, ask for the strength that your prayer

and deeds can help somebody who is in need. Ask

him to open the door, make ways and lift up the

people who are in need.

Open your eyes with the freshness of prayer. You will

see the world which is calm and stable, full of mercy

and compassion. You will see the blessings of god in

the light of the day, in the rising of the sun and sound

of flowing wind.

You will realize that you know yourself a bit better. As

you will pray you will come to know that god is full of

surprises, god knows you beyond your abilities, he

knows what your capabilities are. He wants you to

stretch yourself and reach to your potentials. You will

realize the play of his inspiration, planning and the

majestic world of his creations.

My first prayer to God is to allow me to worship him

so that I and him be one and his strength flows

within the thought of the mind. Thought is the

source of all material success, great discoveries and

inventions. Your thoughts determine your character,

your career and everything in life. Since the

beginning of the human race the molding of man has

been done by those who knew some thing of the

power of thought. All the strong and influential

people knew that their thoughts are strong enough to

influence and drive the thinking of people and

generations by appealing to their minds.

When the thought becomes continuous, committed

coordinated and strong enough it acquire latent

force of belief. The self belief is the sheath anchor on

which the burning desire to achieve grows. It sets

inner forces in motion and in turn help you to reach

your goal.

Most of the people have a desire of becoming

successful but the desire alone in not sufficient.

Desire without an ultimate goal, and the will to

achieve that goal and the self belief of accomplishing

it is like a rudderless ship tossing wildly in a tempest.

A Chinese proverb says "If you dont know where to

go, no map is useful."

We hear various stages of thoughts, intensity of

faith and degree of power, but a creative force

comes only when there is a clearer outline. It

should be a clear picture which our imagination can

visualize, define and follow to the desired

fulfillment of our ambition.

"I believe in my self" is the essence of life and is the

basic edifice of any life achievement. Path breaking

inventions, discoveries, greatest musical

compositions, poetry, literature and all other land

mark ideas originate in our consciousness. When we

start to operate with a heart of these power the

roadmap automatically falls into place as if a magical

hand has touched them. When intuition is true the

whole universe conspires to make it happen. The

only requirement is to keep your faith, just like a

burning lamp amidst a cyclone.

Our mind is a source of our thought while the sub

conscious mind is the seat of power. Conscious mind

is the mind which gives the sense of awareness in

normal life, recalls the events of past life and

under standing by its power of reason, logic and

judgment. On the other hand subconscious mind is

the greatest reality of human life. It is deeply rooted,

knows the elemental desire of an individual and

keeps pressing him for his continuous existence. It is

a power house of energy which is placed at a disposal

of conscious mind. It doesnt rely on space or time

but through intuition it can do unimaginable,

unexplained and unprecedented jobs. This is some

thing which can spring in immediate action and can

take supreme command at the time of dire necessity.

It works without question, hesitation or reservation.

It is only the Gods gift that your subconscious mind

comes to your rescue at right time and guides you to

your final fulfillment.

It easy to say that you do it but there is some inner

force which tells you "Come on. You can do it !". You

may be tossed in a water near a rocky shore where

water is deep and chilling cold, you have sinking

feeling. Suddenly your intuition tells you that you can

save yourself that and your belief becomes your

power. This power brings you out safely.

All over the world though the people have same

emotions, same vibrations and same capacities but

there is something which makes a nation great, one

community achieves what other has not, this is

because of self belief. The people individually and

collectively are inspired and motivated with a force

of belief. Ultimately an individual, a city, a state and a

nation become as they believe.

It is very important to start with the right kind of

thought. If you sow the right kind of seed and

cultivate it with a strong thought it grows into a

mighty force and finds way to overcome the

obstacles. One must start with the right kind of

desire and keep in mind that with the magic of belief

you can obtain what you have dreamt. One has to

focus sharply, through the subconscious mind,

screen itself and keep away all distracting thoughts

and negative ideas which penetrate in subconscious

mind.

During the conception stage of a great work you have

no ideas of how things will happen. You need not

worry, leave it to your subconscious mind. It has its

own ways, it will make contacts, open doors, and

make roads. You receive assistance from unexpected

sources that you have never thought of.

Always remember, subconscious is age less, timeless

and immensely powerful. It never grows old or tired,

the only thing you need is a power of self belief. The

belief should be sincere, strong and complete. Once

your subconscious mind receives the message

clearly, understands your desired goal, you can rest

assured. Achievement of your ambition is just a

matter of time. I pray to almighty to provide me with

an understanding to know myself and believing in my

genuine creative powers because belief with a clear

resolute will makes you unconquerable.

The gift of wisdom does not come from the pile of

books or accumulation of information. You need to

be honest with yourself, drop all pretense and vanity

so that you can explore your inner self .

When you are contended with difficult problem or

situations your effort must be to try and understand

problem and making a honest effort to find a

solution. Never deceive yourself about the sense of

purpose or action. Do the things only and only when

you are absolutely convinced about your actions. Try

to improve upon your previous efforts and your

accumulated previous experiences of facing and

handling situations. This will give you that wisdom

and insight to solve any emerging problems. This

process of learning from the mistakes, learning and

unlearning from the experiences of others, getting

timely advise and tips from teachers, elders and

seniors always spares us from reinventing the wheel

and going through the grill.

Wisdom is what liberates you from poverty, disease

and ignorance. With the dawn of wisdom you

develop an empathy for the fellow beings. You are

able to understand their worries, trials and

tribulations. You are able to give them required help

and solace.

Finding faults with the world at large and with the

colleagues in particular is a sure sign of weakness

and ignorance. Wisdom never finds fault, it finds, but

solutions and moves forward.

The next stage of the wisdom is to self prepare

oneself, to take on the challenges of life and

adversities. Wisdom makes the mind ready to

undergo the turmoil without turbulence, just like a

jet liner cruises through the monsoon clouds. Once

the self confidence in one self is instilled, you are

ready intellectually, mentally, physically to take on

any challenge and succeed.

In the initial stage of acquirement of wisdom there is

a state of awareness. You learn, think and acquire

knowledge in trying to pursue wisdom. But you

should know it is the knowledge, and not the

information which should be your aim.

In the second stage, your challenge is to sustain the

efforts against the odds and adversities. Problems

will come but the enthusiasm should not die,

difficulties will come but endurance should not fail.

In this second stage of improvement one should

achieve equanimity. Don't waiver with success or

failure but continue to do your duty. Once you have

the recipe just go on and on.

You will now attain a stage when you extend help,

inspire the soul and illuminate lives. The next stage

of wisdom takes you to the discovery of treasures of

humanity. Youre thought and you become a guiding

spirit. It is the stage of selfless existence where the

principle of "main nahi tu hi" as per Shree Guruji said

becomes the way of life. This stage of total

emancipation of self and subliming the individuality

in collectivity and being one with everyone, the

after getting up can have profound influence on the

whole day. You can ensure that a wisely spent thirty

minutes can make your day marvelous. Leave your

bed and go to a place where you can reconnect to

your life, your vision and can renew yourself to

refocus on the things that matter you the most.

These early mornings are enlightening to the mind,

you can always give a long distance call to your

almighty in this golden hour but an another

important thing is to take care of your temple, which

is your body. In a sound body rests a sound mind. To

achieve your purpose in life you will need 100% co-

operation from your body in form of disease free

body. Regular exercise not only improves your

health, it helps you think more clearly, improves your

creativity and manages your stress that dominates

your mind. It not only adds years to your life but also

life to your years. For doing both these things

simultaneously in the golden hour you have to get up

with the sun. It is a special time when deep sense of

peace prevails in the air. If you make complete use of

this hour you have a survival advantage on earth, you

are already half way through your work when whole

world is still fighting its battle with the pillow.

It is very important to have a daily code of conduct.

These are the things which tell "Some priorities in life

are more important than the life itself." Only the

fools without a proper planning or discipline in life

keep running behind the time and can never catch

hold of it. A person who has mastered his mind, time

becomes a servant. You are what your habits are.

They are inclinations to a particular action insisted by

repetition. Habits are tenacious. Once you perform

an action, it leaves an effect or impression on the

consciousness. As a result of this influence, you are

likely to repeat that action. After several repetitions,

this inclination is so strong that the action becomes a

habit. The mind tells you that you cannot free

yourself from a particular habit; but habits are

nothing but repetitions of your own wrong

temptations, and these you have a capacity to

change. The nature of habit can be understood by

this analogy: Clay can be molded into a vase; and

while the clay is still soft it is easy to change the form

of that vase again and again. But once it is fired in an

oven, its shape becomes firmly set. So is with your

consciousness. Your thoughts are molding your

actions, and your mental convictions from the

repetition of those actions. It is the fire that hardens

the thoughts into an unyielding habit pattern. We

are what we think we are. The habitual inclination of

our thoughts determines our character, and our

personality. You can instill any trend in your

consciousness right now, provided you inject a

strong thought in your mind, and then your actions

and whole being will obey that thought. Do not settle

for a one-track mentality. You should be able to

succeed in any profession or do anything you put

your mind to. Never kill time. It is too valuable to

waste on useless things.

Habits are like parrot it doesnt know good or bad

whatever you initiate you will get it in a magnified

form. Childhood is a time when the mind is pliable

and it easier to inculcate good habits. Parents should

take the responsibility of guiding their children with

seriousness and responsibility. Dont teach them to

run for wealth but for knowledge. In your personal

life also, your bad habits are like viruses. They slowly

Whether it is relative or absolute? I believe the truth

is absolute. Whenever in doubt, turn your

conscience and pray to God, you will see the light.

Keep the case in front of him, he will tell you what is

true and what is false.

In easy language we arrive at truth by sense of

perception and inference. In order to appreciate the

truth of anything we depend on our sight, hearing,

smell, taste or touch. But these senses can both be

magnified or suppressed so that the perception of

truth might change. By the totality of the situation

and as the emotions involve the objectivity is lost.

How do you find truth then? Because if you believe

your mind, it will give you judgement only about the
