The Opening Chapter

Surat Al-Fatiha

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Bismi llahi rrahmani rraheem

All the praises be to Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

Alhamdu lillahi rabbi aalameen

The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Arrahmani rraheem

The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

Maliki yawmi ddeen

You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).

Iyyaka naAAbudu waiyyaka nastaAAeen

Guide us to the Straight Way.

Ihdina ssiratalmustaqeem

The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace , not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (i.e. those who knew the Truth, but did not follow it) nor of those who went astray (i.e. those who did not follow the Truth out of ignorance and error).

Sirata allatheena anamta alayhim ghayri almaghdoobi alayhim wala ddalleen

And say, "Praise to Allah, who has not taken a son and has had no partner in [His] dominion and has no [need of a] protector out of weakness; and glorify Him with [great] glorification."

Waquli lhamdu lillahi ladhee lam yattakhith waladan walam yakun lahu shareekun feelmulki walam yakun lahu waliyyun mina dhdhulli wakabbirhu takbeera.

Praise and thanks belong to Allah, there is no one to be worshipped except Him. Allah is great, Allah is Great, Allah is Great and there is neither authority nor power but with Allah, the Most High, the Supreme in glory. (3x)

Suhaana Llaah, wal-hamdu li-Lalaah, wa laa ilaah-a illa Llaahu wa-Llaahu Akbar, wa Llaahu Akbar, wa-Llaahu akbar, wa-laa haola wa-laa quwwata illah bi-llaahil-‘Aliyyil-‘Aziimi. (3x)

Glory and Praise be to Allah, Glory and Praise be to the supreme. (3x)

Subhaana-Llaah wa-bihamdihi, subhaana-Llaahil-‘aziim. (3x)

Praise and glory be to Allah according to the number of His creations, according to his pleasure, according to the weight of his throne and according to the volume of His words.(3x)

Subhaana Llaah, wa-bihamdi-Hi, adada khalqi-Hi, wa-ridoo nafsi-Hi, wa-zinata ‘arshi-Hi, wa-midaada kalmaati-Hi. (3x)

Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, I seek forgiveness of Allah, there is no deity besides Allah. (3x)

Suhaana-llaah, wal-hamduli-llaah, astagfiru-llaah-a, Laailaah-a illa-Llaah. (3x)

And O my people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in showers and increase you in strength [added] to your strength. And do not turn away, [being] criminals."

Waya qawmi istaghfiroo rabbakum thumma tooboo ilayhi yursilis-samaa alaykum midraran wayazidkum quwwatan ila quwwatikum wala tatawallaw mujrimeen (Q11: 52)

I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, the Living, The Eternal, and I repent unto Him). ( 11x)

Astaghfirullah al-'Adheemal-ladhi la ilaha illa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilaih. ( 11x)

I seek the forgiveness of Allah. (11x)

Astaghfirullah. ( 11x)

All Praise is for Allah.

Alhamdulillah. ( 11x)

No deity except Allah.

La illaha illa llah. ( 11x)

No power or strength except with Allah. ( 11x)

La hawla wala quwwata illa billaahi-l aliyil Azeem. ( 11x)

There is no God but Allah, alone, without any partner. The Kingdom and Praise belong to Him and he has power over everything. (3x)

dahu la sharika lahu,

Lahul-mulku wa lahul

hamdu, Yuhyii

wayumiitu wa huwa

‘ala kuli-li shayin

Qadeer.’ (3x)

Oh! Allah (11x)

Ya Allahu (11x)

Verily Allah and His angels send their benedictions upon the Prophet, You who believe! Send you benedictions also upon him and salute him with goodly salutation. (Q33:56)

Bismi llahi rrahmani rraheem Inna Llaah-a wa-malaaikata-Hu yusolluuna ‘alan-nabiyyi, yaa ayyualladhiina aamanu, sollu ‘alaehi, wa-sallimu tasliiman. (Q33:56)

Oh Lord! Shower Your blessing on Muhammad (pbuh) and his wives, his progenies as You have showered Your blessing on Ibraheem (pbuh) and on the family of Ibraheem (pbuh) and shower Your endless bliss on Muhammad (pbuh) and his wives, his progenies as You have blessed Ibraheem (pbuh) and on the family of Ibraheem (pbuh). Surely, You are the most Praise worthy, the

most Glorious. (3x)

Allahumma solli ‘alaa Muhammadin, wa ‘alaa aali Muhammadin, kamaa sollaeta ‘alaa Ibraheema, wa ‘alaa aali Ibraheema, innaka hamiidun majiidun. Allahumma barik ‘alaa Muhammadin, wa ‘alaa aali Muhammadin, kamaa barakta ‘alaa Ibraheema, wa ‘alaa aali Ibraheema, innaka hamiidun majiidun. (3x)

In the name of Allah, by Whose name nothing in the earth or in the heaven can do any harm, and He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. (3x)

Bismillah illadhi la yadhurru ma' ismihi shaeun fil ardhi wa la fissama’i wa huwa ssami'ul aleem. (3x)

Those who have been warned by other people, “Indeed, the people have gathered against you, so fear them. But it only increased them in faith, and they said, ""God (Allah) is enough for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs. (Q3:173) And they returned with favor from Allah and bounty, without any harm touching them. And they pursued the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. (Q3:174)

Allatheena qola lahumu nnasu inna nnasa qad jamaAoo lakum fakhshawhum fazadahum eemanan waqaloo hasbuna Allahu waniima alwakeel. (Q3:173) Fanqalaboo biniimatin mina llahi wafadlin lam yamsas hum suu un wattabaoo ridwana llahi wallahu thoo fadlin atheem. (Q3:174)

Allah is Sufficient for us! Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust! (Q3:173) (3x)

Hasbuna llahu wani’mal-wakeel. (Q3:173) (3x)

I commit my affairs unto God, for Allah watches over (His) servants ( Q40: 44) (3x)

Wa ufawwidu amree ilallahi Inna-llaha basirun bil-’ibaad.(3x)

O Lord! I seek Your protection against ingratitude, poverty and torment in the grave. There is no deity except You. (3x)

Allahumma, inni auudhubi-ka minal-kufri wal-faqri, wamin adhaabil qobri, laaillaah illah Anta. (3x)

Oh Lord! I seek refuge with You from an arrogant heart, greedy mind, non-beneficial knowledge and unanswerable prayer. (3x)

Allahumma, inni auudhubi-ka min qolbin laa yakhsha, wanafsin laa yashb’au, wa ‘ilmin laa yanfa’u, wadu’aai laa yustajaabu lau. (3x)

Oh Lord! Drive calamities and catastrophes away from us. (3x)

Allahumma isrif ‘annal-waba-a wal bala-a. (3x)

Oh the Repeller of evils! Repel evils and calamities from us. (3x)

Yaa Daafi ‘al aafaati, idfa’a’ annal aafaati. (3x)

And Surely, our forces shall conquer. (Q37:173) (3x)

Wainna jundana lahumu alghaliboona (Q37:173) (3x)

Oh Allah, the Subtle; Oh Allah, the Provider; Oh Allah, the Confidant; Oh Allah, the Loving. (3x)

Yaa-Latiifu Yaa-Allaahu, Yaa-Rozzaaqu Yaa-Allahu, Yaa-Sattaru Yaa-Allahu, Yaa-Waduudu Yaa-Allahu. (3x)

O God who help those who seek help, please help me. (3x)

Yaa-Giyaathal-mustagithiina agithni. (3x)

Oh my Lord! Make me not a burden on any one, do not compel me to ask for my needs from any one, do not make me dependent on any one, Oh Allah! To whom every voice cries, to Whom everything is attached, Who is unique, the only One, the Absolute Who has no associate nor beget any son! Guide my hand from wrongfulness to righteousness, and deliver me from every distress and plot.

Robbi Laa takilnii ilaa ahaadin, walaa tuhawwijnii ilaa ahadin, walaa tuhawwijnii ilaa ahadin, Wa agninii an kulli ahadin, Yaa-man ilaehil –mustanad, wa alaehil-mu’tamad, wa huwal-waahidul-fardus-somad, laa shariika la-hu walaa walad, khudh biyadii mina ddolaali ilaa rrushdi, wa najjinii min kulli diiqin wanaqdin.

I seek refuge with the words of Allah from His anger and from evils of His servants and from the handiwork of devil and their afflictions. (3x)

Auudhu bikalmaatil-Laahit-taamat min gadobihi, washarri ‘ibaadihi, wamin hamazaatish shayaatiini wan a yahduruuni. (3x)

O Allah! No one can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the riches cannot avail a wealthy person with You.

Allahumma la mani'a lima a'tayta, wa la mu'tiya lima mana'ta, wa la yanfa'u dhal-jaddi, minkal-jaddu. (3x) Al-Bukhari and Muslim

"O My Lord! Truly I am in (desperate) need of any good that You bestow on me!" (Q28:24) (3x)

Rabbi innee lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeer (Q28:24)(3x)

”Oh Allah, I seek refuge in you from grief and sadness, from weakness and from laziness, from miserliness and from cowardice, from being overcome by debt and from being overpowered by men (i.e. other people)” (3x)

Allaahumma innee a’uthu bika minal-hammi wal-hazani wal‘ajzi wal-kasali wal-bukhli wal-jubni wa dhala’id-daini wa ghalabatir rijaali. (3x)

… Our Lord! We have wronged our souls, and if You do not forgive us, we shall of a surety be the losers. (Q7:23) (3x)

…Robbanaa, Zolamnaa anfusanaa, wa in lam tagfir la-naa, wa tarhamnaa, lanakuu nanna minal-khaasiriin. (Q7:23) (3x)

Oh Lord! I am Your servant, son of Your male servant, the son of Your female servant, my forelock is in your hand, Your order concerning me would be executed and just is Your judgment upon me. I ask You with all of Your names that You named Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught any of Your creatures from Your hidden knowledge, to make the holy Qur’an a soothing for my heart, the light for my chest, make it to overwhelm my grief, remove my agony and replace my sorrow with joy.

Allahummaa inni abdu-ka, wabnu abdi-ka, wa bnu ammati-ka, naasiyatii biyadi-ka, maadin fiyya hukmu-ka, ‘adlun fiyya qodoohu-ka, as-alu-ka bikulli ismin huwa la-ka sammaeta bihi nafsa-ka, ao taathar ta bihi fi ‘ilmil-gaebi inda-ka, an taj-‘alal-Qur’an robii ‘a qolbii, wa nuura sodri, wajilaa-a huznii, wazihaaba hammi, wa ‘abdil-fii makaani huznii Farhan.

Our Lord! Suffer not our heart to deviate after that which You have guided us to and bestow on us from Your presence mercy. Surely, it is You Who are the bestower!. (Q3:8)

Robba-naa, laa tuzig quluuba-naa, ba’da idh adaetanaa wahablanaa min ladun-ka rahamatan inna-ka antal-wahaab. (Q3:8)

"Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!" (Q2:201)

Robbana aatina fiddunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan, wa qinna athaban-naar. (Q2:201)

Our Lord! Grant us abundant patience, and make our feet firm and make us victorious over the unbelievers.

Robbana afrig alaena sobran wa sabit aqdamana wansurna alal qaomil kafirin.

"Our Lord! Verily, it is You Who will gather mankind together on the Day about which there is no doubt. Verily, Allah never breaks His Promise". (Q3:9)

Rabbana innaka jamiu nnasi liyawmin la rayba feehi innallaha la yukhlifu almee ad. (Q3:9)

"Our Lord! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire." (Q3:16)

Rabbana innana amanna faighfir lana thunoobana waqina athaba annari (Q3:16)

Allah does not burden a soul except with what is within its capacity. It will have the consequence of what good it has gained, and it will bear the consequence of what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people." Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

La yukallifu llahu nafsan

illa wus aha laha ma

kasabat wa alayha ma

iktasabat rabbana latu-

akhithna in naseena aw

akhta/narabbana wala

tahmil alayna isrankama

hamaltahu ala allatheena

minqablina rabbana wala

tuhammilna ma la taqata

lana bihi wafu anna waghfir

lana warhamna anta

mawlana fansurna

alalqawmi alkafireen

(Q2:286)

Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we follow the Messenger so write us down among those who bear witness.

Rabbana amanna bima anzalta wattabaa naa rrasoola faktubnaa maa shshahideen.

"Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and anything We may have done that transgressed our duty: Establish our feet firmly, and help us against those that resist Faith. Q3:147

Rabbana ighfir lana thunoobana waisrafana fee amrina wathabbit aqdamana wansurna alalqawmi lkafireen. Q3:147

Our Lord! We believe; so write us down among the witnesses. (Q5:83)

Robbana aamanna faktubnaa moash-shaideen. (Q5:83)

Our Lord! Do not put us among

the wrong-doers. (Q7:47)

Rabbana la taj’alna maa alqawmi althalimeena. (Q7:47)

Our Lord! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to You! (Exalted are You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. (Q3:191)

Rabbana ma khalaqta hatha batilan subhanaka faqina athaba alnnari. (Q3:191)

"Our Lord! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him; and never will the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) find any helpers. (Q3:192)

Rabbana innaka man tudkhili alnnara faqad akhzaytahu wama lilththalimeena min ansaar. (Q3:192)

"Our Lord! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad pbuh) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and expiate from us our evil deeds, and make us die (in the state of righteousness) along with Al-Abrar (the pious believers of Islamic Monotheism). (Q3:193)

Rabbana innana samiina munadiyan yunadee lileemani an aminoo birabbikum faamanna rabbana faighfir lana thunoobana wakaffir anna sayyiatina watawaffana maal abrari. (Q3:193)

Our Lord! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break Your Promise." (Q3:194)

Rabbana waatina ma waadtana ala rusulika wala tukhzina yawma alqiyamati innaka la tukhlifu almeeAAad. (Q3:194)

Our Lord! Grant us abundant patience and let us to die as Muslims. (Q7:126)

Rabbana afrigh AAalayna sabran watawaffana muslimeen. (Q7:126)

In God we trust. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the wrong-doers (i.e. do not make them overpower us). And save us by Your Mercy from the disbelieving folk." (Q10: 85-86)

Ala-llahi tawaklna. Robbana La taj alnaa fitnatan lil qaomi solimeen. Wa najjinaa birahmatika minal qaomil kafiriin. (Q10: 85-86)

نو نب كتمحرب ان ج ب يوككنب

Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established." (Q14:41)

Rabbana ighfir lee waliwalidayya walilmumineena yawma yaqoomul hisabu (Q14:41)

"Our Lord! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!" (Q18:10)

Rabbana atina min ladunka rahmatan wahayyi lana min amrina rashadan. (Q18:10)

"Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment."(Q25:65)

Rabbana isrif anna athaba jahannama inna AAathabaha kana gharaman. (Q25:65)

Our Lord! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and make us to be leader (sample) for the righteous” (Q25: 74)

Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wathurriyyatina qurrata aAAyunin waijAAalna lilmuttaqeena imaman. (Q25: 74)

Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the punishment of Hellfire (Q40:7)

Rabbana wasiAAta kulla shayin rahmatan waAAilman faighfir lillatheena taboo waittabaAAoo sabeelaka waqihim AAathaba aljaheemi (Q40:7)

Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful (Q59:10)

Rabbana ighfir lana waliikhwanina allatheena sabaqoona bialeemani wala tajAAal fee quloobina ghillan lillatheena amanoo rabbana innaka raoofun raheemun (Q59:10)

Our Lord! In You (Alone) we put our trust, and to You (Alone) we turn in repentance, and to You (Alone) is (our) final Return." (Q60:4)

Rabbana AAalayka tawakkalna wailayka anabna wailayka almaseeru (Q60:4)

Our Lord! Let our Light shine forever for us and grant us forgiveness. Verily, You are Able to do all things."(Q66:8)

Rabbana atmim lana noorana waighfir lana innaka AAala kulli shayin qadeerun (Q66:8)

O Lord! Open my chest and Make all my affairs easy for me (Q20: 25-26)

Rabbi ishrah lee sadree wa yasir lii amri (Q20: 25-26)

O my Lord! Inspire me so that I may forever be grateful for those blessings of Yours with which You have graced me and my parents, and that I may do what is right in a manner that will please You; and include me, by Your grace, among Your righteous servants!” (Q27:19)

Rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waadkhilnee birahmatika fee AAibadika alssaliheena (Q27:19)

Lord! Help me against the oppressors (Q29:30)

Rabbi onsurnee AAala alqawmi almufsideen (Q29:30)

My Lord! Grant me the power and ability that I may be grateful for Your Favour which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteous good deeds, such it will please You, and make my offspring good. Truly, I have turned to You in repentance, and truly, I am one of the Muslims (Q46:15)

Rabbi awziAAnee an ashkura niAAmataka allatee anAAamta AAalayya waAAala walidayya waan aAAmala salihan tardahu waaslih lee fee thurriyyatee innee tubtu ilayka wainnee mina almuslimeena (Q46:15)

Lord! Build for me a home with You in Paradise (Q66:11)

Robbi-bni li indaka baetan fil janna (Q66:11)

O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. (Q3:26)

Allahumma malikal mulki tuutee lmulka man tashaoo watanziu lmulka mimman tashao watuizzu man tashao watudhillu man tashaoo biyadikalkhayr innaka ala kulli shaein qadeer. (Q3:26)

You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account). (Q3:27)

Tuulijul laela fin naari wa tuulijunnaara fiil laeli wa tuhrijul hayya minal mayyiti watuhrijul mayyita minal hayyi wa tarzuqu man tashahu bighaeri hisaab. (Q3:27)

My Lord! Please Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!"

Rabbi ighfir wairham waanta khayru alrrahimeena.

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (Q2:55)

Allahu la ilaha illa huwa alhayyu alqayyoomu la takhuthuhu sinatun wala nawmun lahu ma fee alssamawati wama fee alardi man tha allathee yashfaAAu AAindahu illa biithnihi yaAAlamu ma bayna aydeehim wama khalfahum wala yuheetoona bishayin min AAilmihi illa bima shaa wasiAAa kursiyyuhu alssamawati waalarda wala yaooduhu hifthuhuma wahuwa alAAaliyyu alAAatheemu (Q2:55)

TRANSLATION TRANSLITERATION ARABIC In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.


By the morning brightness

And [by] the night when it

covers with darkness,

Your Lord has not taken

leave of you, [O

Muhammad], nor has He

detested [you].

And the Hereafter is better

for you than the first [life].

And your Lord is going to

give you, and you will be

satisfied.

Did He not find you an

orphan and give [you]

refuge?

And He found you lost and

guided [you],

And He found you poor and

made [you] self-sufficient.

So as for the orphan, do

not oppress [him].

And as for the petitioner,

do not repel [him].

But as for the favor of your

Lord, report [it]. (Q93)

Ma waddaaka rabbuka

wama qala.

Walal-akhiratu khayrun

laka minaal-oola.

Walasawfa yu’teeka

rabbuka fatarda.

Alam yajidka yateeman

faawa.

Wawajadaka dallan fahada.

Wawajadaka a-ilan

faaghna.

Faamma alyateema fala

taqhar.

Waamma assa-ila

falatanhar.

Waamma biniimati rabbika

There has certainly come to

you a Messenger from among

yourselves. Grievous to him

is what you suffer; [he is]

concerned over you and to

the believers is kind and

merciful. But if they turn

away, [O Muhammad], say,

"Sufficient for me is Allah;

there is no deity except Him.

On Him I have relied, and He

is the Lord of the Great

Throne." (Q 9: 128-129)

Laqad jaakum rasoolun

min anfusikumAAazeezun

AAalayhi ma AAanittum

hareesunAAalaykum

bilmumineena raoofun

raheem. Fa-in tawallaw

faqul hasbiya Allahula ilaha

illa huwa AAalayhi

tawakkaltuwahuwa rabbu

alAAarshi alAAatheem

Did We not expand for you, [O

Muhammad], your breast?

And We removed from you

your burden Which had

weighed upon your back

And raised high for you your

repute. For indeed, with

hardship [will be] ease.

Indeed, with hardship [will be]

ease. So when you have

finished [your duties], then

stand up [for worship].

And to your Lord direct [your]

longing. (Q93)

Alam nashrah laka sadrak.

Wawadhaana anka wizrak.

Allathee anqadha thahrak.

Warafaana laka thikrak.

Fa-inna maal usri yusra.

Inna maaal usri yusra.

Fa-itha faraghta fansab.

Wa-ila rabbika farghab.

For the accustomed security

of the Quraysh – Their

accustomed security [in] the

caravan of winter and

summer – Let them worship

the Lord of this House,

Who has fed them, [saving

them] from hunger and

made them safe from fear.

(Q106)

ashshita-iwassayf.

FalyaAAbudoo rabba

hatha albayt. Allathee

atAAamahum min

jooAAinwaamanahum min

Indeed, We have granted

you, [O Muhammad], al-

Kawthar. So pray to your

Lord and sacrifice [to Him

alone]. Indeed, your enemy

is the one cut off.

Inna

aAAtaynakaalkawthar

Fasalli lirabbika wanhar

Inna shani-aka huwa al-

abtar. (Q108)



Say, "O disbelievers,

I do not worship what you

worship. Nor are you

worshippers of what I

worship. Nor will I be a

worshipper of what you

worship. Nor will you be

worshippers of what I

worship. For you is your

religion, and for me is my

religion." (Q109)

Qul ya ayyuhaal kafiroon.

La abudu ma tabudoon.

Wala antum abidoona ma

aabud.

Wala ana abidun ma

abadtum.

Wala antum abidoona ma

aabud.

Lakum deenukum waliya

deen. (Q109)

Say, "He is Allah , [who is]

One. Allah , the Eternal

Refuge. He neither begets

nor is born. Nor is there to

Him any equivalent." (Q112)

Qul huwa Allahu ahad

Allahu assamad

Lam yalid walam yoolad

Walam yakun lahu

kufuwan ahad. (Q112)



Say, "I seek refuge in the

Lord of daybreak. From the

evil of that which He created.

And from the evil of

darkness when it settles.

And from the evil of the

blowers in knots.

And from the evil of an

envier when he envies." (Q113)

khalaq. Wamin sharri

ghasiqin ithawaqab.

Wamin sharri

annaffathatifee

alAAuqad.

Wamin sharri hasidin

Say, "I seek refuge in the

Lord of mankind,

The Sovereign of mankind.

The God of mankind, From

the evil of the retreating

whisperer - Who whispers

[evil] into the hearts of

mankind - From among the

jinn and mankind."

Ilahi annas. Min sharri

alwaswasi alkhannas.

Allathee yuwaswisu fee

sudoori annas.
