VOCABULARY NEWS (ORANGE BOOKS)
Unit 3-Vocabulary cards due and spelling test-Friday, 9/13.
MATH NEWS
Adding and subtracting. Math Facts graded tests 2-3 times per week. Math log is due each Friday. Students practice math facts 10 minutes each night. This can be done in the car on the way to and from school.

SPANISH NEWS Weather Expectations
From Mrs. Pray: Each student should know all of their addition/subtraction facts by the end of this 9 weeks. Students will be self-paced on completing the multiplication facts after obtaining 100% on addition/subtraction composite test.
From Mrs. Bartosh: Students should be reading their AR books 15 minutes each day. AR goal is due October 4.
ENGLISH NEWS
Continue Unit 1 on Sentences.
READING NEWS We will continue to read “Shiloh.” We will work on reading skills. Read for AR points. AR goals due October 4.
SOCIAL STUDIES NEWS
Continue Chapter 1-Exploring the U.S. test on 9/10-Tuesday. STUDY NOTES, VOCABULARY AND THE END OF EACH SECTION OF CHAPTER 1.
