Instructions to the Principal/co-ordinators:
At the time of conducting practical exam, the seat numbers for Semester V maynot be available. The examination shall be conducted based on the roll numbersof the students provided by the college.
The marksheets to be sent to the University shall be the final marksheets withthe Seat Numbers allocated by the University which will be issued to the college
by the University. The final marksheets shall be signed by the external examiner as well as internal
examiner.
It shall be the responsibility of the college to get the marksheet signed by theexternal examiner and submit the same to the University.
Practical Exam shall be conducted in the college itself. The practical exam shall be conducted between 1st and 20th of October 2013 The marksheets should reach the University (Room No 10, Ground Floor, Exam
House, Kalina) before30th Oct 2013 without fail.
Question Slips will be created by the college faculty teaching the course.All types of examples should be covered from the list of practical given in thesyllabus.
The time table shall be prepared by the college in consultation with the externalexaminer allotted to the college for the subject.
EXTERNAL examiner will be signing the Students Journals and will also beevaluating of the practical course exams.
The examiners have to be selected by the college from the colleges. Details about mark sheet and remuneration are still not clear, wait
for further instructions.
EXTERNAL examiner should be present for the entire duration of the exam.She/he must make sure that the exam is being conducted in the right spirit.
The rough marksheet should be preserved by the college for one year after thedeclaration of the results.
The Practical Exam time table should be prepared as per the attacheddocument. One batch cannot have more than 40 students.
The maximum batch size is 40. The minimum batch size will depend on the total number of students in your
college.
Each course exam will be of two and a half hours. The distribution of marks shall be 40 marks for practical (Which can be 10 + 10
+ 10 +10 or 20 + 20 or 40), 5 marks for journal and 5 marks for viva-voce.
