: All food and beverage services must be communicated and finalized with the Catering Manager at least

thirty (30) business days prior to the scheduled event date. A final guarantee of attendance will be due

seven (7) business days prior to the event. All plated dinners require selections chosen in advance and a

form of place card for each guest designating their selections.

All charges are subject to 6% sales tax. A 22 % service charge, or $20.00 per hour service fee per server,

will be charged on all functions determined by whichever is greater.

The Detroit Club will not allow any outside food and beverage, or companies, to cook, produce, prepare, or

serve items not prepared by the club’s culinary team. Should the event require special circumstances, the

client must provide the Catering Manager with a written request to be approved or denied by The Detroit

Club.

Single ‘shots’ of alcohol are not permitted for service at any Detroit Club events. In addition, no alcoholic

beverages, bottled or otherwise, are permitted to be given as ‘host/hostess gifts. In the case(s) when a

guest does not have proper identification the Detroit Club reserves the right to refuse service. The client

agrees that the Detroit Club reserves the right to refuse service to any person under the influence of alcohol

or unlawful substances and/or to request that such persons vacate the premises.

: A completed credit card authorization form is required in order to guarantee the outlined space and event

date. Please note the event date is not confirmed until the Detroit Club receives the (1) signed sales

agreement and (2) deposit amount listed in the agreement.

All estimated charges must be paid in full no less than (3) business days prior to the event. Payment must be

made in the form of cash, check, cashier’s check, or credit card. All events require a valid credit card to be

placed on file as a guarantee.

All deposits are non-refundable. If a confirmed event cancels, the group will be subject to cancellation fees

as listed in the agreement.

Event attendees must abide by the following Detroit Club Dress Code:

No athletic wear, hats, or athletic shoes are permitted in the club except in the fitness area. Gentlemen must

have a collared shirt in all areas of the clubhouse. Denim is permitted, however, must be accompanied by a

collared shirt and sport coat. Ladies are required to wear appropriate daytime or evening attire.

:Decorations may be used on premises however, we ask them to be tasteful and noninvasive. Confetti and

glitter are unwelcomed forms of decoration. Should the decorations include confetti/glitter a cleaning fee of

$100.00 will be charged to the final bill. The Detroit Club staff is not responsible for the set-up or

breakdown of event décor outside of the contracted facility specific requirements (i.e. tables, chairs, house

linen, china, glass, silver, house audio visual etc.).

The client agrees financial responsibility for any damages to the premise either during the event, set-up, or

breakdown. The Detroit Club is not responsible for loss or damage to any personal property brought onto

the premises by clients or guests. Entertainment during the event hours may be scheduled.
