Electrostatic Precipitatorwith Automatic Cleaning
The Air Scrubbers, Inc. PowerClean is a new generation electrostatic precipitator used to control process
generated airborne contaminants. PowerClean is a reliable solution for both indoor air quality problems andcontaminated exhaust air. It’s available in side access units for use with central air handlers or as a stand alone fanpowered unit.
Dependable high frequency electronics, safe/no-short charging system, rugged ionizer electrodes and improvedautomatic cleaning are just a few of the innovations developed to make PowerClean the most reliable ESP ever.High efficiency particle collection is delivered instantly and continuously. The extremely low resistance to airflowmeans less fan horsepower is needed, compared to conventional media filtration, and since resistance to airflow isconstant, the system air volume is always maintained. Optional bonded activated carbon can be added for odorcontrol, making PowerClean the IDEAL SOLUTION for ventilation or exhaust air quality problems.
Reliability, high performance and low operating cost make PowerClean an excellent choice for indoor air cleaningor exhaust air pollution control.

System DescriptionPowerClean Side Access Model (SA) is a factorypackaged system including side access housing withupstream and downstream flanges, integral washsystem, pre and post mist eliminators, electroniccollectors, system control, detergent dispenser, andaccessories. The factory assembled system isdesigned for mating to air handlers and ventilationsystems or as a stand alone unit factory furnishedblower/motor package.
The System PLC Control is programmed to start andstop the system according to customer requirements. At a predetermined schedule, the Control also initiatesa water/detergent wash cycle to clean away collectedcontaminants. Spent wash water is drained from thebottom drain pan, PowerClean is forced dried and readyto continue operations. Start, stop and wash functionscan also be initiated by manual push button.
