So, What Is A Hypnotic 'Trance'?

Most of the classical notions of hypnosis have long held that hypnosis was special in some way from other types of inter personal communication and that an induction (preparatory process considered by some to be necessary in the production of hypnotic phenomena) would lead to a state in which the subject's awareness and behavioural responding was somehow altered from the usual. The name, historically, most commonly associated with this altered state of functioning is 'trance.' This term is also the description given to the activities of certain spiritualist mediums and other phenomena that some psychologists might refer to as 'dissociative,' because something about the individual's personality appears split off from the usual response patterns to the environment. Trance, is not necessarily a sleep or stupor but is perhaps best referred to as “an altered state of awareness.”

There were a great many experimental and clinical studies done to try to determine what might be unique about hypnosis, as opposed to other kinds of situations (e.g. people simply being motivated to comply with the Hypnotist; i.e. hypnotic simulators). Years of careful analysis by a number of researchers were mostly fruitless. At least one theory of hypnosis considers it equivalent to a form of relaxation. Comparison of various relaxation methods with regard to both objective measurements and subjective reports indicate deep relaxation accompanying some hypnosis but not all hypnosis. Hypnotic suggestibility is apparently not limited to relaxed states as the Stage Hypnotist is keen to point out. However you want to describe hypnosis and trance, the facts remain that the process produces amazing results.

Misconceptions Common misconceptions used to be that Hypnotists were crystal-gazers, devils or witches? From the history of hypnosis, I am sure you can see why this used to be the case. Some Stage Hypnotists of today still promote their business is a spooky manor still creating strange misconceptions about hypnosis and trance. Believe it or not some people even today still have very little understanding about hypnosis. Things are changing though, nowadays people are becoming much more aware and understanding to the powers of hypnotherapy and are starting to become more open to such ideas as they realise that the doctor is not the magical key to all cures! Here in the UK we are starting to realise that the doctor is not the cure for all illnesses and as the NHS system rapidly declines we are starting to realise that we must take care of our own health. A trip to the doctors is not always the best remedy. I am not saying that we should ever ignore the advice of the Doctors, Doctors advice is always best but there will be many times when other complimentary therapy should be used as well. People still believe that the Hypnotist controls the mind of the subject and certainly for hypnotherapy this is not true. Some people still believe, the Hypnotist has a special “power” over their subject. The subject is in a coma-like state, unable to see, hear, feel or remember anything. Some still think only weak-minded people can be hypnotised whilst others believe only the strongest minded of people can be hypnotised. Many believe Hypnosis is a miracle cure-all. Whatever their misconceptions, you as the Hypnotherapist must remember that your clients may have questions they need answering and some may seem a little strange to you as a professional Hypnotherapist, but still these questions need answering to put your clients at ease. Remember most people know nothing about hypnosis except maybe the humour of the hypnotic stage show!

Truths About Hypnosis Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness, much like others (such as daydreaming) that we naturally go in an out of every day. You remain in control at all times and you will not say or do anything against your will. You are not in a coma-like or sleep state and will remain aware of what is happening. Anyone who can understand the Hypnotherapists language can be hypnotised to some degree. Guided by a qualified Hypnotherapist, hypnosis is a safe method of self-improvement. Often people come out of hypnosis feeling relaxed and refreshed. You determine your own success by your motivation and cooperation. Understanding the above is very important to your success as a Hypnotherapist. Using standardised induction scripts (Provided later in the course) and classical induction techniques, some people are found to be markedly more hypnotisable than others. Aside from minimum intelligence for language and capacity to follow instructions, there are some other stable characteristics that seem to relate to hypnotisability, though they do not appear to relate directly to anything that we ordinarily consider personality traits (such as the stereotype of gullibility and so on.)

5

An exceptionally skilful operator can individualise their approach and thereby reduce the number of 'un-hypnotisable' or 'resistant' subjects. There are still some people that respond much more easily than others to hypnotic suggestion, especially with regard to 'deep trance' phenomena. About 5% of people are classically un-hypnotisable. Most people show moderate scores, and about 10-20% are hypnotisable to extreme depths and show the classical deep trance phenomena such as somnambulism, visual and auditory hallucinations, and ability to remain deeply in hypnosis with eyes open as used by the Stage Hypnotist. Somnambulism is the term used for deep states of trance. The person is said to be deeply hypnotised or somnambulistic. So What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnosis is a natural method of lulling the conscious mind in order to reach the subconscious. When the subconscious is spoken to directly, old patterns and conditioning can be reprogrammed and new ideas and positive suggestions can be introduced. These positive suggestions can then be used to help make the changes you desire.

What Is A Hypnotherapy Session Like? The Hypnotherapist acts as a guide to help you make the changes you have decided to make. Your conscious mind will be guided to a state of deep relaxation – similar to daydreaming. To induce this state of relaxation the Hypnotherapist may use various techniques such as deep breathing, muscle relaxation, counting techniques or imagery. From there the Hypnotherapist can use numerous methods to teach your subconscious new ideas and patterning. Common methods include visualisation, guided imagery, reframing, direct suggestion and regression. At times you may listen and participate silently as the Hypnotherapist guides you. Other times you may be a more “active” participant, answering questions and giving feedback to the Hypnotherapist. When the proper suggestions and imagery have been completed, you will be gently emerged. Most often people feel rested, relaxed and refreshed after a hypnosis session. Is hypnotherapy safe? Yes. It is very safe when used by a qualified Hypnotherapist. You remain in control at all times. You cannot be forced to say, do, or accept anything that you are not comfortable with. In fact, you can choose to enter or leave the hypnotic state at anytime. Hypnotherapy is also medically approved, with results guaranteed to make you smile!

The Self-Induction Technique. (Self Hypnosis.) Before you go on to develop as a Hypnotherapist it is important that you understand and even achieve the following two states yourself. A great starting point in the world of hypnosis has to be Self-Hypnosis! 1. Alpha State. 2. Theta state. I would like to introduce you to our own induction technique that has been designed to enable you to reach these 2 recognised states. As a Hypnotherapist theses are the 2 states that you will be working with your clients in and so it is important that you know what they feel like. I don’t want to dive too deep into self-hypnosis on this course so I will only devote the next few pages into learning a quick hypnosis technique. For more information on Self Hypnosis please join the free self-hypnosis training course online at: www.PowerMindHypnosis.com 1. The Alpha State Alpha state is a state of relaxation. It is with practice easily achieved in seconds and it allows your whole body to relax and recharge. It empowers your conscious and subconscious minds to work as one allowing you to control your thoughts and empower your mind to new levels of achievement. Alpha State is a feeling of calm and well-being; it is a feeling of being inside yourself. It is a feeling of relaxation where all the chitter chatter of everyday life is removed. It is a place where your conscious mind takes control of its world and finally you are king! Before we go on, it is important for you to be able to enter this first state of relaxation. To be able to enter the silence within. Entering the Alpha state will allow your body to relax and recharge, it will allow your mind to remove the rubbish running around in your head and it will allow you to be able to think more clearly and be able to make the decisions necessary to enable you to shape your destiny. Practice will make you perfect and I recommend that you practice purposely entering the Alpha state at least 2 times a day for your first week, although in reality you will enter it many times more. All you need to do is close your eyes relax and allow yourself to go within. A technique for instant relaxation can be found over the page.

You do not have to experience Alpha or Theta for you to be a successful Hypnotist but as this is now becoming your field of experience then the more knowledge you have the more confident you may feel. Why not have a go, after all, you might just like it! Alpha is a level of thinking. It is a brain wave operating at a lower frequency than the normal Beta waking state. Alpha is perhaps the most powerful brain wave hence the name Alpha as it was the first brain wave found. Beta is the normal waking state and Alpha the relaxed thinking state. In the Alpha state you are relaxing and removing the chitter chatter of the mind. Have you ever driven a car, perhaps late on a nigh time when it is dark, on the motorway when you are slightly tired, then suddenly you realise you don’t remember the last five miles! That’s Alpha State! Daydreaming. That’s Alpha State too! Some sports people or entertainers go so deep in the zone they are completely unaware of their surroundings and so deep in their performance. Tiger Woods was once known to take his golf ball out of the hole and go walking off to the next green, when his caddy asked him where he was going? He replied he was going to the next hole. His Caddy replied that was the 18th and last hole, he had won the competition! So in Alpha State you can be quite awake and yet so focused! Some thing very different is going on inside your brain! Alpha state is the difference between winning and losing.

Alpha State - Experiencing the Alpha Zone Induction Technique One. Firstly, wherever you are make yourself as comfortable as possible. If you can try to make sure your whole body, arms, legs, neck and head are supported. Take a deep breath in and as you exhale close your eyes. Now with your eyes closed count down from 3 down to 1 and then continue with the letters S.L.E.E.P. As you inhale count down the numbers 3 down to 1. Each time you exhale say to yourself relax. After the count down breath out a “relax”, take a breath in saying to yourself the words “Sleep now”. Then as you breath out say the words “I am within”. Eyes Closed, take a deep breath in, Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “3”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “2”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “1”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “S”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “L”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “E”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “E”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “P”. Breath out, “Relax”. Breathe in, “Sleep now”. Breath out, “I am within”. Now allow your mind and body to relax feel yourself inside with your mind. Allow you mind to explore all areas of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Only when you can feel the silence within, will you ever be able to make changes without. It’s a great idea to master this simple principle as the results could make a great difference to the way you live. Once inside you can allow your mind to wander for just a few seconds or a few hours! Enjoy this feeling and the happiness of this space because it is where you start to design the blueprint of your life. From this state of alpha you can take yourself deeper into a hypnotic trance by simply relaxing more and giving your subconscious mind instructions to go down deeper into Theta relaxation. The Alpha state is the blueprint of your life and entering this state will allow you to make positive changes in all areas you can imagine. The Hypnotic Theta state will enable you to go deeper to the root of any problems allowing you as a practitioner to up root the problems and leave deep rooted positive suggestions in its place.

Deepening the Alpha state to the hypnotic Theta state. Once in the alpha state and you are aware of your mind and body, picture the top of your head and allow your imagination to relax all your muscles in your head. Allow all the muscles to go lose and limp. Allow you mind to drift down your face relaxing every muscle in you head, your eyes so heavy and relaxed, your jaw muscles relaxed and teeth slightly apart and allow your mind to relax every part of your body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes as you sink deeper into trance. To help you achieve full deep hypnotic Theta trance you could record the script in your voice and then play the audio back to yourself as you relax. There is some great audio with the free self hypnosis course so be sure to use the audio so that you can experience the 2 hypnosis states. Alpha State and Theta State. Free Self Hypnosis Course: www.PowerMindHypnosis.com When you hit Theta Trance your awareness simply fades away. Some people initially struggle to achieve Theta as they struggle to let go of all thoughts. Others simply think they went to sleep. Theta hypnosis is easiest achieved through the use of a Hypnotist or hypnosis audio programs to guide you. Alpha State – Light Hypnosis – Self Hypnosis. Theta State – Deep Hypnosis – Hypnotherapist Guided or Audio Guided.

How to Use Your MIND POWER to Achieve Goals How can Mind Power help us to achieve goals? Quite simply, we tend to get what we focus on. If anything in this life is achievable, then by directing Mind Power, it can be achieved. But first we have to BELIEVE that we can achieve. If I want to do something and I tell myself I can't do it, then I will fail. Unless, by a small chance something miraculous happens to put my goal in my path. And even then, I may still fail if I don't believe I can succeed. But when I tell myself, 'yes I CAN do this' - 'it is a certainty that I can SUCCEED' - then I am already half way up the mountain. The summit will be reached by work and determination but knowing it can be reached makes that journey easy and enjoyable. What often happens is that many people are so used to being put down in life, especially during those early years when the personality is being formed, and so they believe that everyone else is better than they are. The teachers, the parents, the big brothers and sisters and so on - they all know better. . . Unfortunately these are not always the best teachers. With the best intentions in the world, a parent or teacher can destroy a child's self-confidence and install a lifelong pattern of self-doubt. SO - to achieve YOUR goals - forget about other people's lessons in life. What is right for one person is not necessarily right for another. Wipe the slate clean and START AGAIN – start believing in yourself. State Your Intentions Decide upon your goal; then say it aloud, or write it down. This is known as GROUNDING. Taking it from the thought form to the material form is the first step towards achievement. State your Goal or your Intentions in a Positive framework. For example, 'I am successful' rather than 'I am not going to fail'. This means you will be pointing that Mind Power in the right direction - i.e. success. Visualise yourself as already having achieved that goal. If your ambition is to be a top tennis player, for example, see yourself being presented with a trophy after winning Wimbledon. Don't short measure yourself, always aim for the top.

Page 13: Power Mind Hypnosis - Module Two What is Hypnosis? Self Hypnosis ·  · 2017-03-23Power Mind Hypnosis - Module Two What is Hypnosis? ... Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness,

13

If your ambition is to make lots of money, see yourself checking your six or seven figure bank statement, looking at your mansion, driving that sports car or whatever it may be. Think about the steps that are needed to achieve that goal. Unless it's something really easy, you're not going to jump from where you are now right up to the top. So realistically decide what needs to be done. For instance, if your goal is to lose three stone in weight, you're not going to do this unless you make some changes in your lifestyle. This could be eating smaller meals, exercising, cutting out junk food, stopping snacking or comfort eating, etc. Starting with Step One, visualise yourself (in Alfa hypnosis, preferably), taking this First Step. Add all the necessary components to your mental image. If your First Step was to eat more healthily, visualise yourself shopping for healthy foods, selecting those crisp, fresh vegetables or salad from the supermarket, preparing them - put in the aroma, the smell of fresh herbs - really imagine this, and imagine that wonderful taste in your mouth and how good you feel as you digest this healthy food - don't forget the touch of those foods - you can imagine this as well. And having gone through this in your mind, you have directed your Mind Power to help you to achieve, in a realistic way, the goal that you desire. You have planted the right thoughts in your mind, and generally, whatever goes INTO the mind, will come out in some form or other. This self-hypnosis part of the program is here so that you can start thinking positively about yourself and your new business. Self-hypnosis is very important to a Hypnotherapist and getting a good grounding of Alfa and Theta State will help you to help others.

A Typical Self-hypnosis Script. OK, lets take a quick look at a more in depth self-hypnosis script. You could memorise this script but it would be more beneficial to record your voice and play it back as you relax. It’s OK the script does not need to be exact for it to work, just make sure your affirmations are 100% positive. The Recorded Induction Script I am starting my self-hypnosis session now. From now until I say 'wake up' I will get more and more relaxed and focused within myself. Suggestions I give myself will be effective, but this will apply to only those suggestions I give myself and which I consciously want to be effective. I relax now. As I close my eyes and begin to drift downward, I can imagine a blanket covering my feet. Every part of my body covered by the blanket will become completely relaxed. My feet are becoming deeply relaxed. All of the muscles in my feet are becoming limp and relaxed. Now the blanket is moving up to my knees. Every muscle and tendon in my body from my knees down is getting more and more relaxed. All tension is flowing out of this area, leaving all the muscles limp and loose and lazy. Now the blanket is moving slowly up to my waist. As it moves upward everything is becoming relaxed. As it reaches my waist I can hardly feel anything from there down. All the muscles in my hips, lower abdomen, legs and feet are becoming progressively more and more relaxed. All cares are flowing out of my mind. If a thought does intrude I will just gently let it go away. I am thinking only of relaxing and letting go of all tension. All of my muscles are becoming more and more relaxed, and I am feeling pleasantly drowsy. I will not go to sleep, but I am feeling so carefree and relaxed, sinking further and further into myself with no cares or worries. Now the blanket is moving upward, moving slowly over my stomach, inching up over my chest, stopping at my shoulders. All of the muscles in my stomach and back are letting go, becoming totally and completely relaxed. The relaxation is like a warmness, spreading to every place covered by the blanket. The muscles in my chest and arms are getting more and more limp. I could move if I really had to, but I am becoming so comfortably limp and relaxed I don't want to move. I am still and relaxed, drifting deeper and deeper into a pleasant state of dreamy relaxation.

15

Now the warmth and relaxation are slowly moving upward from my shoulders. The blanket is remaining there, but the relaxation is gently moving upward in my neck. All muscles in my neck are becoming limp and lazy. I can see them in my mind's eye, becoming limp and loose. All cares and worries are floating away as I drift deeper and deeper into my relaxation. Now the relaxation is spreading into my mouth and jaw muscles. My tongue is limp, resting in my mouth with no need to be tense. I may briefly have more saliva in my mouth, but that will go away shortly. Now my cheeks and eyes are relaxing. I could open my eyes if I wanted to, but unless I need to, it would be too much work. It would take too much effort to open my eyes. I am drifting pleasantly downward, becoming more and more relaxed. The muscles in my forehead are becoming more and more relaxed. I can imagine them, like rubber bands across my forehead, becoming limp and floppy. Deeper and deeper, relaxing more and more. From the tips of my toes to the top of my head, I am becoming more and more relaxed, drifting downward, deeper and deeper. Now I am going to count down from twenty-five. As I count down I will continue to drift down, pleasantly going deeper and deeper into the relaxation. I will get drowsy and deeply relaxed, but I will not actually go to sleep. I will simply drift deeper and deeper into my self-hypnotic state of deeply relaxed awareness. By the time I reach zero I will be in a very pleasant, sleep-like state. I will still be able to direct my thoughts, and I could rouse myself immediately if I needed to, but unless I really need to, I will drift deeper and deeper into the relaxation. Starting down now . . . twenty-five . . . twenty-four . . . twenty-three . . . twenty-two . . . drifting deeper and deeper with each count . . . twenty-one . . . twenty . . . feeling drowsier and drowsier, yet still awake . . . nineteen . . . eighteen . . . seventeen . . . floating gently downward with each count . . . sixteen . . . fifteen . . . fourteen . . . drifting, drowsy . . . thirteen . . . twelve . . . eleven . . . ten . . . more than half-way down, drifting deeper and deeper with each count . . . nine . . . eight . . . seven . . . six . . . five . . . feeling so relaxed . . . four . . . becoming more and more relaxed and drowsy . . . three . . . two . . . one . . . zero. Breathing pleasantly, slowly, drifting deeper and deeper with each breath. "As I continue to be deeply relaxed, and to become even more relaxed, I am thinking about my suggestions.

Self Hypnosis Affirmations Once you have completed the previous self-hypnosis script you will find that you feel just so calm and relaxed. This is the point when you can program your subconscious mind with the thoughts you wish to achieve. All suggestions you give yourself must be 100% positive. Create your affirmations as if they have already happened. You would use suggestions like: “I am calm and relaxed always.” “I am always in control.” “I have perfect health” “My arteries and veins expand easily allowing blood to flow easily to all my major organs.” “I am fit and healthy.” “I attract people easily to my hypnosis coaching business.” “I am always kind, thoughtful and loving.” “ I lose weight quickly and easily.” “I exercise everyday.” “All of the suggestions I have given myself will be effective because they are right for me and it is good that I should achieve them.” "Each time I practice self-hypnosis I will become better and better at it. I will be able to relax deeper and deeper in less time with each practice. “

17

End of Session Wake Up Once you have completed your mind programming you would then use a script to wake yourself up, or if you prefer you could just allow yourself to drift off to sleep. Remember Alpha and Theta States are states you drift through as you go off to sleep and so drifting off to sleep after programming your mind would be normal. So, you can simply use self-hypnosis as you drift off to sleep on a night-time. I don’t have time is not an excuse for not using self-hypnosis. A simple waking script could be as follows. "Now, as I count to three, I am going to slowly, gradually, pleasantly wake up. I will return to my normal, waking state, except for the suggested changes. Now, starting up, . . . one . . . becoming more alert . . . two, getting ready to wake up . . . three, wake up. Eyes open." Teaching your Clients Self Hypnosis As a Hypnotherapist a powerful technique is to teach your clients self-hypnosis. When your clients understand the power they have within their own mind and how easy it is to tap into this massive potential they will move forwards faster and stronger than ever! “Give a man a fish and he will be happy for a day, teach a man to fish and he will be happy for a life time.”

Definitions of Hypnosis Below you will find some dictionary definitions of hypnosis:

• A trance-like state in which a person becomes more aware and focused and is more open to suggestion.

• A sleep-like state usually induced by another person in which the subject retains awareness of the presence of the Hypnotist and where the subject is susceptible to heightened suggestibility. After training by a Hypnotist, some migraine patients can be taught to hypnotise themselves in order to reduce stress and related symptoms.

• A therapeutic technique in which the patient is placed in a trance. This places the patient in an extremely suggestive state in which false memories can be created.

• An alternative state of consciousness in which the attention of an individual is focused away from the present reality and towards particular images, thoughts, perceptions, feelings, motivations, sensations, behaviours or any combination of these.

• An altered state of consciousness induced by another person, in which one can access creativity, retrace certain inhibitions, reprogram patterns and work with pain relief.

• A state of heightened suggestibility.

• Method used to transform a person into a trance-like state.

• A state of altered consciousness usually induced artificially.

• A trance state in which you are receptive to suggestions that may help you to heal yourself.

• Is a psychophysicological state induced-like sleep. It is an altered state of consciousness, characterised by a heightened sense of suggestibility and weakens critical judgment in which the subject is responsive to suggestions of the inducer, the hypnotist.

• A deep state of relaxation where an individual is more susceptible to suggestions.

Page 19: Power Mind Hypnosis - Module Two What is Hypnosis? Self Hypnosis ·  · 2017-03-23Power Mind Hypnosis - Module Two What is Hypnosis? ... Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness,

19

• A trance like condition usually induced by another person in which the subject is in a state of altered consciousness and responds, with certain limitations, to the suggestions of the Hypnotist.

• A trance-like state in which response to suggestions or commands is increased.

• A state that resembles sleep but that is induced by suggestion

• Hypnosis is a psychological state whose existence and effects are strongly debated. Some believe that it is a state under which the subject's mind becomes so suggestible that the Hypnotist, the one who induces the state, can command behaviour that the subject would not choose to perform in a conscious state (even behaviour to be performed after the subject has left the hypnotic state, through post-hypnotic suggestion) or even behaviour they would be incapable of in a conscious state.

However you want to describe hypnosis it’s power is unquestionable. Hypnosis is the key to the subconscious and the subconscious runs the show.

To Conclude Part Two Scientists have studied procedures identifiable as hypnosis for 200 years. Most of the detailed investigation took place between 1950 and 1980. This was before the current medical research into the chemical links among the body systems took place. Links between the nervous and immune systems have been of particular interest recently, along with their significance in health and disease. A large percentage of the earlier research into hypnosis went into demonstrating that suggestion could influence various autonomic body systems in an observable manner. Before the days of hypnosis and biofeedback research this was considered an incredible, even supernatural claim.

The classic hypnosis research also demonstrated that some or all people respond differently to suggestion under different conditions. Today, there is basic agreement among most Scientists and Doctors that such a thing as hyper suggestibility does occur in some sense. This means that under certain conditions, unusual feats of attention control, psychosomatic regulation, perceptual distortion, and cognitive dissociation can be consistently produced in many subjects, whereas under other non hypnotic conditions the same subjects can seemingly not deliberately produce those same behaviours.

21

Current theoretical frameworks appear to be moving toward an even clearer distinction than we had in the past between the hypnotic induction process and the resulting condition of hyper suggestibility. Most classical hypnotic induction is indistinguishable from other means of helping to induce a relaxed condition in the body. Also, a number of experiments have demonstrated enhanced suggestibility under conditions where the body is not relaxed suggestion works outside of hypnosis in a waking state. This can be seen with the powers of the Stage Hypnotist. The common link between most situations of hyper suggestibility appears to be a narrow selective focus of attention. This is something which seems to result from such diverse conditions as sensory isolation and total relaxation. There does not appear to be a single common general EEG pattern in hyper suggestibility, or which makes hypnotised individuals distinguishable from awake ones, though there are hints of possibly unique evoked potential responses during periods of enhanced suggestibility. We know that when you relax an individual, the left hand brain, the thinking brain allows access to the powerful right hand brain. This gives you the operator the ability to help program the right hand brain as the brain will not judge you it will accept your suggestions into it’s programming. Why spend hours, days, weeks and months going through long and exhaustive counselling sessions when hypnosis takes the skilled operator straight to the route of the problem making positive changes in minutes. A little Extra Reading When you downloaded this Hypnotherapy course you also downloaded a self-hypnosis book by Melvin Powers. The book was written sixty years ago but the subconscious mind hasn’t changed in the last thousand years so it’s major points are still relevant and so I thought it would be a great part of the course. Now would be a great point in the course to have a little read of the book.

Conference Call Time I will soon be running a conference call for Modules One and Two. The conference calls will be run by myself and so it offers you the change to get clarification on everything you have read so far.

What-ever business you are in, it will come down to the flying hours that you have that will make you a better pilot! These conference calls are classed as hands on training and so are often needed in some countries to ensure that you can join hypnotherapy organisations or may be a requirement with some insurance companies. Watch out for emails from myself informing you of future conference training calls. You don’t have to wait for the call before moving forwards in the course and if you should miss a conference call you can always come back to it. Now is a great time to prepare for future calls.

The conferences will take place through the Internet and so make sure you have a free Skype account and a set of headphones with a

microphone so you can listen in and talk on the call.
