The global business matching program provided more opportunities for both visitors and exhibitors alike to create meaningful meetings and communication before the expo.

The VIP Buyer Program provides incentives for major trade buyers and group buyers to attend the event. Twice as many VIPs attended the expo in 2019 compared to the previous year, showing just how the expo attracted larger participation than ever before by Australia’s leading brands and trade buyers.

The 2019 marketing campaign delivered strong audience engagement and included an expanded focus on VIP attendees.

The campaign featured an optimised mix of direct communications, trade and press advertising, telemarketing including a VIP calling, direct mail and email campaign, industry partnerships and networking at business events as well as print and online show listings.

A heavy focus was put on digital marketing and social media for 2019, achieving a more well rounded and efficient approach. Along with Google Adwords, more advertising and targeting was done within Facebook, and Linkedin was utilised to target the audience based on job titles and industry.

The campaign also continued to utilise the resources of local business chambers, trade offices, fashion bloggers and industry insiders.
