Project Title: National Association of Investment Companies Period: November 2004 – January 2005 Client: Dragonfly Communications Complexity: 8 database tables, 50 ASP.NET web pages Technology: SQL Server, ASP.NET, Verisign Payflow Pro Summary: The NAIC system allows companies to solicit venture capital funding from NAIC member companies. The system provides three basic functionalities: 1) PrivateEquityLINK – Companies enter data about their company, their management team, financial statements, etc. as well as their funding needs and proposed uses. The system is a stateless data entry methodology, allowing the user to go back and forward until all data is entered and checked. When complete the company pays a fee to have the data listed and sent to all NAIC members. 2) NAIC Member interface – The NAIC members can log into the system to search for companies matching their criteria and can get reports on the companies funding needs. 3) Administrative Interface – A back end admin interface also allows the system administrators to manage the profiles, extend the profile expiration dates, administer the members logins, and get basic data reports. The NAIC system uses a universal role based authentication method that allows for various levels of NAIC member access as well as the option to persist the users login between sessions, for ease of use. Code Gurus was the sole developer for the application and database. Dragonfly Communications performed graphical design. Project Title: National Association of Investment Companies Period: November 2004 – January 2005 Client: Dragonfly Communications Complexity: 8 database tables, 50 ASP.NET web pages Technology: SQL Server, ASP.NET, Verisign Payflow Pro Summary: The NAIC system allows companies to solicit venture capital

funding from NAIC member companies. The system provides three basic functionalities:

1) PrivateEquityLINK – Companies enter data about their company, their management team, financial statements, etc. as well as their funding needs and proposed uses.
