My name is Adrian Gonzalez I am a recent
graduate from California State University,
Dominguez Hills and earned a Bachelor of Ar ts in Ar t, concentration in Graphic Design
with a Minor in Motion Graphics. I originally
majored in art education but once he trans-
ferred out from Long Beach City College I
realized that I wanted to pursue a bachelor’s
degree in graphic design instead. I enjoy the
aspect of visual communication through the
use of type, space, and image.

Five of my designs were published in
Communication Arts March/Aprill 2015 issue.
The work that was published consisted of
posters and photography.

Packaging design for a class project consist-
ing of a kit designed for people who suf-
fer from chronic dry eye disease. The color
palette for this kit is a selection of cool colors
that provide a sort of relief. The Renew dry
eye kit consist of lubricant eye drops, aller-
gy eye drops, omega-3 supplements, night
ointment, uv sunglasses, and a warm eye
compress. The also has a infographic to give
the give the user a better understanding of
the causes, preventions and treatments of
dry eye syndrome. The kit was designed to
be able to carried and taken anywhere inside
it’s custom designed carry bag.
Renew Dry Eye kit is intended for people who suffer from chronic dry
eye disease.

Postcard design for a 2015 exhibition. The
dimensions of the postcard are 4x6 in and
color palette is blue, pink, burgundy and
orange. The front of the postcard was de-
signed by taking the title of the exhibition
and re-creating it in a conceptual design. The
back of the postcard has a unique design
consisting of the information for the exhibi-
tion. 3000 copies were distributed through-
out the community. This project was intended
for the anyone who is interested in arts or in
the art and design program at CSUDH.
Postcard design was for the 2015 annual senior exhibition at
Cal State University Dominguez Hills.

Conceptual book cover design for a well-
known novel. The cover design was accom-
plish by only using photography. The color
palette for this project is blue and yellow.
The color palette was chosen to create high
contrast. This book cover design was intend-
ed for people enjoy reading and are intrigue
by unque book covers.

Poster series consisting of three different
plays that were popular during the mid
1900’s. Each poster design was approach in a
conceptual way and making it more attractive
today’s viewers. The series color palette are
blue, red, and yellow. Each image in the post-
ers photographs that were taken to create a
dramatic poster. This poster series is inteded
to advertise current plays.

Several logo designs for different organiza-
tions. Each logo was designed to specifically
represent the organization it was designed
for. The color palette used for each logo is
based on the choice of the organization.

Logo design for the Loker Student Union.
The color palette used for the logo design
are the same colors that are use to repre-
sent CSUDH. The basic mock-up stationary
includes an envelope, business card, t-shirt,
notebook, pencils and a interactive app. The
stationary was created to show how the logo
would appear in different items.
Logo design selected as the new logo for the Loker Student Union at
CSUDH and will also be used for the rebranding of the building.

Calendar design for Toro Productions in-
cludes information about upcoming events in
campus. Each month has a consist of a dif-
ferent illustration that pertains to the specif-
ic month. The illustrations were created by
altering text and making sure there is some
sort of hierarchy between the words dis-
played in each illustration. The color palette
for this project consist of black and khaki.
This calendar design was intended for cur-
rent and incoming students who are interest-
ed in participate in campus activities.

Magazine including high school student’s
design work. There are six participants that
had their work included inside the magazine.
Each student was able to established their
own identity by attending a series of design
workshops. The outcome of the workshop
was a magazine that was used to expose
how design need taught in high schools. The
magazine was printed and distributed to the
community in hope to bring more exposer to
graphic design.

Poster designs that were produce while
working as a graphic designer at Loker Stu-
dent Union. Each poster was designed for a
specific event in campus or outside of cam-
pus. The advertisement poster design were
inspired by online posters. The photography
seen in the posters are not my own photog-
raphy they are images provided by google
images. I was only able to design the place-
ment of the images and text.

Second place winner of the Don Quixote
exhibition at CSUDH. The exhibition includes
aspects of the world famous Don Quixote
novel. The image on the left pertains to ma-
nipulation the top middle image pertains to
gender . The middle center image pertains to
violence, the bottom center image pertains
to madness. The image on the right pertains
to race. Each image was taken by using day-
light and using a white construction paper as
the background. The images are a conceptu-
al approach to the novel.

Screen shots of stop go animation that was
made for a motion graphics course. The ani-
mation was made by taking over 900 photos.
the scenes in the animation are all unique
and do not repeat, There are four different
color backdrops which were created by using
different color construction paper. The letters
are 3D cardboard letters. The letters were
painted different colors to appear different
throughout the animation. ,
