1983 Sunland Homes founded and created first luxury residential dwelling.

1986 Sunland developed harbour front villas and river front homes at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.

1988 Developed Malibu, a 20 storey residential tower at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.

Palazzo Versace Hotel and Condominiums (Dubai) is under construction on a finger wharf development, part of a master planned waterfront development on the Dubai Creek. The site area for the hotel is 5.5 hectares. The hotel will yield 169 condominiums and 213 hotel rooms.

Sunland’s exclusive partnership with the international design House of Versace to develop 15 resorts over 30 years is a powerful catalyst for the Group’s entry into new global markets.

We are currently looking at emerging markets in the broader Middle East, as well as exploring opportunities in other locations, which meet our three key criterias. These include regions that have an appreciation of international luxury brands, demonstrate a strong uptake to condominium projects and have an established tourism and leisure market.

Sunland is creating Palazzo Versace Dubai in a joint venture with Gulf Resources, a subsidiary of Emirates Investment Group. The joint venture is based on 51%–49% shareholding (in favour of Sunland).

Palazzo Versace Gold Coast, the world’s first fashion-branded hotel, was completed in 2000. Palazzo Versace Dubai, is currently being developed on the Dubai Creek waterfront as part of the region’s prestigious Culture Village precinct.
