Lining System

• Ideal solution for pipe

diameters from 4” to 18”

(100mm to 450mm) and

over, on medium and long

pipe lengths; works also in

presence of 90° elbows, tees.

• The application is fast, up to

100m pipe in a single

operation, injecting into the

pipe a GRP sock that

polymerizes in place adhering

to the internal pipe wall.

• Minimizes disassembly of

pipes; in many cases only to

create space for the liner

injection unit and a minimal

space on the other end of the

pipe. 1 entry-point and 1

exit-point… 100m in one time

PolyTube® Standard

Lining System

• Suitable for pipes starting

from 2“, with no practical

upper limits.

• Is also very suitable for

complex pipe spools (as

from 1m length) including

elbows, adapters, tees,

weldolets, etc.; generaly just

needs the disassembly of a

pipe at the front end and

the back end of the spool or

pipe from the line.

PolyFlake® for PolyTube™

over 25 years in seawater.

PolyFlake is convenient, the

application is fast, and in an

emergency, or on small surfaces,

can be done on-site by the ship’s

crew.

PolyFlake® coating is also

recommended on pipes in CuNi,

BzAl, Stainless Steel, and Carbon

Steel. Even when at the Class

minimum acceptable thickness,

PolyFlake extends the pipelines’

operational life.

A PolyFlake® & PolyTube coated

pipe can be flame cut - welded,

the flame damaged coating is

self-extinguishing and non-

propagating the flame; where

the coating is burnt, sanding the

area suffices, and re-application

of a new PolyFlake® resin will

perfectly bond to the existing

PolyTube™

PolyTube™ creates a pipe inside

a pipe and is corrosion and

pressure resistant, with minimal

flow restriction.

Burst pressure of the PolyTube™

is over 42bar (600 psi) at

ambient temperature

The highly flexible, single-layer

inversion liner PE-felt bonded to

an impermeable PU coating, is

capable of snaking multiple

bends up to 90° and transitions.

A specifically formulated two-

part epoxy resin system, 100%

solids, impregnates the liner

offering superior mechanical

properties, chemical resistance,

and adhesion to pipe materials,

even under very humid and wet

conditions.

As a part of the PolyTube™ lining

systems this resin is specially

designed for quick and easy

repairs, with excellent wet-out

capability, and low-odor, the no-

VOC formulation is also

available.

Modification and repairs can be

done with flameless technology.
