Strong and smoothDynapac CP142 has power reserves enough toensure effortless and efficient finishing and sealing.Add to that the smooth start-stop procedure and youhave a trusty working companion for long efficientpasses. The power source is the reliable CumminsQSB 3.3 T3A with an output of 74 kW or 99 hp, andthe muffler and exhaust pipes are hidden under thehood for best possible visibility backwards.

Reliable performanceThe ergonomic designed F/R handle, located onthe right side of the operator’s seat, makes operationsmooth and easy. With full control of the enginepower applied the surface quality and end result ismaintained at top level. Perfect balance is providedby the unique modular ballast system. It gives you theadvantage of direct visual control of the wheel loads.

Safe and secureA clear view and undisturbed driver control areimportant properties both from a quality and asafety viewpoint. In the CP142 the operator seat isplaced in the centre, and the ROPS is placed not toobstruct the view. The operator can keep an eye onthe finest details – and stay aware of movementsclose to the machine.

The Dynapac TouchDynapac presents a series of pneumatic tyred rollers in the 21 - 27 ton weight class including a21 ton wide base tyre version. The CP224, CP224W and CP274 incorporate several new featuresthat will enhance efficiency, serviceability, operator comfort and the end result. PerformanceA pneumatic tyred roller is a specialized machine –with a wide range of applications. Finishing and seal-ing are obvious ones but soil compaction can alsobe carried out with top quality. A significant featureis the smooth start-stop procedure when changingdriving direction. The air-on-the-run option and back-up sprinkler further enhance the end result quality.

SafetyThe braking system has two separate circuits whichare able to maintain full braking capacity even if adamaged hose or other failure should disable oneof the circuits. Visibility and manoeuvrability are safety corner-stones. Dynapac’s cab design, as well as the 4-postROPS, minimizes obstruction of the operator’s fieldof view. Also, precise steering and the powerfulbraking system keep the operator in control.

ErgonomicsIn a Dynapac roller, the seat, steering wheel,dashboard and controls are built as an integratedunit, easily adjusted to personal preferences. Theentire operator unit can slide and rotate in orderto give the best visibility and working conditionspossible. Optimizedhydraulic systems and engines reduce fuelconsumption and emissions, and enginescomplying with Stage 3A are fitted as standard.Biodegradable hydraulic fluid can be used, andit is easy to change engine liquids and hydraulicfluid without risk of spillage. To reduce noise, the cooling fans are thermostaticallycontrolled, and the entire machine producesa surprisingly low level of ambient noise.

In a Dynapac, the operator has the advantage of a highly ergonomic and user-friendly driver’s environment. The spacious asymmetrical cab can be equipped with air conditioning or ACC.

To achieve the same ground pressure on front and rear tyres, the ballast is distributed evenly, whether water, sand or steel is used.

The new CP224/274 rollers are under three

metres in height with Cab or ROPS.

This can be a key factor when transporting the

roller between worksites.
