Planning - Layout
Front CoverWith my front page, I have many conventional features. For example the main image takes up the whole of the page, which is what will attract attention to my magazine, along with a title which is placed in the middle. I have placed two puffs to the left hand side one at the top & bottom this is to father attract interest but also ensures the page isn’t to overcrowded.

Contents PageI plan to have limited text on my contents page, and will use two images to attract the reader, to two main features of the article. A big picture taking up half of the page, with a smaller picture in the bottom right hand corner, and the remaining space will be for other pages of the magazine. This will give the page the simple design that I want, meaning it isn’t overcrowded, but will still look professional.

Double Page SpreadAfter looking at various double page spread, I have come to the conclusion that I will go with the conventional layout. An image relating to the article will take up one page, in order to attract attention, and the article will be placed on the other page. I have also placed an image on the article, to further illustrate the article and keep interest.

Planning Colour Scheme
This is the colour scheme that I have chosen for my magazine pages, the colours red, blue & white represent the British feel to my magazine, however are also colours which contrast well and make things stand out.
