How to THINK and PLAN Cross-Curriculum cooperating with other teachers? How to plan process based on skills?AIMS FOR THIS SESSION

Is that knowledge interdisciplinary? RWPS - Does the learning activity require solving authentic, real-world problems? Are students solutions implemented in the real world? ICT - Are students passive consumers of ICT, active users, or designers of an ICT product for an authentic audience? SR - Is the learning activity long-term? Do students plan and assess their own work, and revise their work based on feedback? SK-K - Are students required to communicate their own ideas regarding a concept or issue? Must their communication be supported with evidence and designed with a particular audience in mind? 5

Drafting common plan

Discuss and CHOOSE 1 AGE GROUP (which is common for both or close enough).On page write down age group, all subjects you teach and school names (countries)!1st step in PAIRS (6 min)

Discuss what are main 20 skills, that needs to be taught (developed) in chosen age group in your subjects and WHY? Discuss what methods/tasks/learning activities can be given to develop those skills best!Create MIND MAP!

2nd step in PAIRS (20 min)

Find another pair with at least 1 similar subject! Present your MIND MAPS! Give feedback and take new ideas for your mind map. 3rd step in GROUPS (10 min)

Discuss what topics/themes, that needs to be taught in chosen age group in your subjects? Create list of topics/themes!Discuss and write down links (what is common points) between topics/themes!

4th step in PAIRS (20 min)

Find another pair with at least 1 similar subject! Present your MIND MAPS and links! Give feedback and take new ideas for your mind map and links. 5th step in GROUPS (10 min)

Look on your links and MIND MAP! Discuss and pair links with methods/tasks/learning activities. Write down why these links with methods/tasks? Write down how much time/lessons would be needed for this?

6th step in PAIRS (20 min)

Find another pair with similar AGE GROUP! Present your COMMON PLAN! Give feedback and take new ideas for your common plan. Look for similarities in both and try to find common things! (Underline what is common)

7th step in GROUPS (20 min)
