 The Placement Policy of Jaipuria Institute of Management seeks to provide afair and reasonable opportunity to all its students to be suitably placedaccording to their Aptitude, Scores, Attendance, Caliber Competence!

($ )ationale * Co'erage"! The Placement Process at Jaipuria is based on the principles of #$uity,

%air play, Transparency &b'ectivity!(! It )ould involve both on*campus as )ell as o+*campus routes!! This Policy )ould cover all students of P-.M (All Courses)!/! Placements )ould be a student driven e0ercise! The role and

responsibility of the placement cell is to facilitate the process of placement!

1! 2hile every endeavor )ill be made by the institute to check con3rm

antecedents of the company etc!, the students are also e0pected toe0ercise their 'udgment and conduct due diligence before participatingin the placement process of a company!

C$ +roun! )ule To avail campus placement services4facilitation for placement, students )ould

have to 3rst register themselves )ith the placement cell and accept the

terms of Placement Policy!

"! Jaipuria follo)s the one*student5 one*'ob policy!2. 2hile registering )ith placement cell, each student )ould be re$uired

to give t)o choices of his4her preferred functional area from%inance4674Marketing4&perations 47etail4 IT! 6o)ever Student should

attempt to appear in ma0imum companies!! At any point 8after completion of (9 company processes in )hich

student )as eligible:, student should have appeared in at least (1;processes!

/! &nly those registered students )ould be considered )ho ful3ll all there$uirements of the company4placement cell4academic score4theattendance in the P.P classes and etc!

1! <ormally, students are short listed for placements on the basis of guidelines, cuto+s, etc! provided by the recruiter! 6o)ever, in cases)here recruiters re$uests Jaipuria to shortlist students for them,

 Jaipuria )ould shortlist students on the basis of merit i!e! on the basisof mock recruitment process4C-PA scores other attributes 8I.P Score

AMCAT Score, Communication and Presentation Score and Mentors%eedback, etc!: important for the 'ob pro3le as per inputs given by6ead of the Campus Placement Training .epartment!

The placement e0ercise for a student )ould be considered to havebeen over and complete once his4her name is conveyed in the list of selected candidates, by a company through email, in )riting or o+erletter! Student )ould not be eligible for participating in ne) or ongoingprocess after this point e0cept in .ream Company )ithin rules given in

As per the .ream Company rule a studentalready selected by a company )ould be allo)ed to sit for one .reamCompany of his4her choice )hose package )ould be CTC /!1 PA or more4!esire! prole as clearly specie! %y te stu!ent"7 sub'ect to thefollo)ing conditions5

opportunity for the companies to brief about the organiFation, 'obpro3le, remuneration, location, gro)th prospects and also to interact)ith the students, understand their e0pectations and apprise them of the 'ob re$uirements and 'ob pro3les o+ered and students must beinteractive get clari3cation of any doubts from the company oGcialsgiving PPT!

(! .ress code must be maintained and students must be seated "1minutes before the starting of PPTs4intervie)s! They )ill not be allo)edto enter the Auditorium4Conference4Intervie) room after the start of 

PPTs4selection process4PI!! #ach campus )ould maintain a register4log to record the campus

process steps in details right from student registering to 3nal selection!

;$ )ules for Placement Process"! Students are not authoriFed to communicate )ith the companies on an

individual level$ Any deviation )ould result in disciplinary action

against the particular student8s: involved in such activity, )hich may

include permanent debarring from placement process! Any corporate

interaction by any student must be carried out in consultation )ith the

Corporate 7elations Team!(! All students )ho appear for placement process are re$uired to5

• Must carry Institute Identity Card 6all ticket if applicable!

• Carry Summer Internship 7eport!

• Carry Photocopy of all educational $uali3cations4credentials!

• Stick to be in time maintain discipline!

•  The students are also advised to update their mobile numbers

)ith the placement cell in case of any change! It )ill becompulsory for all the eligible students to appear in the Pre*Placement Talk 8PPT: of a company, if the company is fromhis4her preferred specialiFation!

•  The 'ob postings along )ith the eligibility criteria )ill bedisplayed on the college display board and also sent to studentsgroup id! Students are re$uired to check their emails regularlyfor information and details regarding placement drives!

• Students )ho are eligible for any placement drive )ill have togive his4her consent before attending the same to the concernedcoordinator before the deadline!

• Student )ho fails to attend the placement drive, )hether on oro+ campus subse$uent to his4her consent for attending thesame )ill be considered as misconduct resulting in disciplinaryaction including permanent debarment!

! Students coming inappropriately dressed on Placement drive )ill notbe allo)ed to attend the placement activity and disciplinary action )illbe taken against them!

/! Placement cell )ill make all arrangements for recruiters to be invitedand included in the placement process! All students are re$uired to dotheir home)ork seriously before facing an intervie) and select onlythose companies )hich meet their preferred pro3le! Students shouldbe clear and fully prepared for the selection process viF Aptitude Test,Case Study, -. PI etc! as per selection process of a speci3c companycoming for recruitment must prepare themselves thoroughly! Theresponsibility to get selected4get o+er of employment lies s$uarely onindividual students!

1! All o+er letters )ill be addressed to the institute! Acceptance by

students )ill be through the placement cell of the institute!

+$ 8ligi%ilityAll graduating students )ho have registered )ith the placement cell shall be

eligible to receive placement assistance unless other)ise debarred from

receiving such assistance on account of5"! Secured less than the minimum pass marks in their program!

(! <on completion of Summer Training4other academic re$uirements!! @reach of discipline and general misconduct!/! If a student fails to submit his4her summer training report )ithin time

as prescribed by the placement cell he4she )ould also be debarredfrom the placement process!

1! If a student has any back paper at the time of commencement of the1th Trimester, he4she )ill be debarred from the placement process and)ill not be allo)ed to sit in the ongoing selection process in thecampus till the time he4she clears his4her back papers! 6o)everdepending on the genuineness of the individual case the Appellateauthority )ould take the decision!

=! If a student is caught using unfair means during any e0am4test )ouldalso be debarred form the Placement Process!

$ 3e%arment Policy The follo)ing events4actions )ould be deemed to be acts of misconduct and

)ould attract commensurate penal action4permanent debarment if5

"! A student attendance is less than >9; in P.P4I.P, guest lectures,Aptitude Tests, Mock -.4PI sessions etc!

(! The student )ithdra)s from4does not appear in placementprocesses after registering himself4herself for a company or gettingshortlisted 8as part of the process: by a recruiter on the basis of CH,

! All emergencies are covered )ithin processes! <o e0trareimbursements4e0ceptions shall be allo)ed over and a%o'e due to

any reason!/! The student indulges in the follo)ing acts of misbehavior in the

placement process5Individually approaches the company that he4she does not )antto 'oin the company!Speaks negative about the company or Jaipuria Institute of Management!

 

Is found doctoring his4her resume, certi3cates, e0periences, etc!,submitted at Placement Cell!

 Talks directly to the company representative4e0ecutive at anytime other than pre*placement talk!

 

Asks any irrelevant $uestion or behaves in an unacceptable )ayduring the pre*placement talk4-.4PI!Misbehaves )ith the placement team corporate oGcialsconducting campus recruitment process!.eliberately 'eopardiFes any other students chances of gettingselected by his4her act of misconduct!Indulges in any behavior )hich is socially unacceptable and orbrings disrepute to Jaipuria!
