Expected to shorten the trip to the airport by up to 10 minutes, bypassing four traffic signals and a rail crossing and offering a congestion-free route

Open to drivers in March 2011

Electronic tolling via E-ZPass (only westbound traffic from Interstate 295 will be tolled to use the Airport Connector)

Project to include cultural component recognizing significant Civil War history of the area

An extension of Pocahontas 895, which offers added value including weather monitoring and security cameras on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge
