Module 8:  Nurture Your List

We all know first impressions are SUPER important.

That's why a killer welcome email series is vital to your business.

Welcoming new potential clients and customers to your business

properly sets the tone for their future experiences with you.

“Welcome emails are purpose driven emails written to carry

the excitement of a new user toward a first positive

experience with your product or service. They bridge the first

steps of the onboarding process – acquisition & activation,”

explains Alex Mohr, Marketing Lead at Sendwithus.

Module 8: Nurture Your ListWelcome Email 1: Here is your freebie!

-Deliver the freebie

-Remind them WHY they need the freebie and what outcome they

can expect, be SPECIFiC!

-Tell them you will be emailing them over the next few days and

recommend that they add your email address to their safe or

whitelist so they don't miss out!

-Lead them to open the next email by telling them you have a JUICY

tip coming for them tomorrow.

Welcome Email 2:  Quick tip that takes them ONE step farther than

the freebie did

-Follow up on the freebie, ask if they have any questions and tell

them they can reply to you with questions.

-Deliver the juicy tip you mentioned yesterday.

-Instruct them to take action and then let you know how the tip

worked for them in your community or in an email.

Welcome Email 3: Something personal to make a deeper

connection

-Be super specific in your story

-Make it something relatable to your ideal client

-Always ask yourself, why do my readers care? If you don't have a

GREAT answer to that question, keep thinking

Welcome Email 4: Build your authority

-Share a few free resources you already have created

      -blog posts are great

-This shows you as even more of an expert in your niche

-This is a great time to invite them to your community if  you have

one

This can look a little different if you are setting up a funnel for

passive income, you can add in a sales email for email 4 or make a

more advanced funnel.

After subscribers go through your funnel, they should be added to

your general email list.

Try to email your subscribers once a week with value, stories, special

things you have going on and of course about your products or

services.

Here are some more ideas on what to email your list:

-Freebies you've created

- New blog posts

-Behind the scenes of your biz./life

-Reminders and news about events in your biz

-Tips and tricks they can easily implement

HERE is a great blog post I found that gives some great ideas as well.

Staying in touch with your readers means they won't get annoyed

when you email them with an offer.

Remember: VALUE, VALUE, PITCH

Focus on quality value emails and the pitch emails will be much

more successful!
